New Alethonym Weapon
The new stasis Alethonym exotic weapon looks really good. Does anyone know how it will be obtained, if it has a catalyst and what it does?

Pretty sure it’s the season pass weapon. For the catalyst, no idea yet - gonna have to check on Tuesday. Would be cool if it gave it chill clip or something stasis themed.

3 RepliesEdited by BetweenMyself: 10/2/2024 5:26:01 PMHaving double checked the Twitch VOD of the stream, they start speaking about the Exotic Stasis GL at around the 25 minute mark. During the discussion they state that it will be the Season Pass Exotic meaning you will be able to claim it as soon as you log in if you have the Pass (or about level 40 on the free track), while the Catalyst will likely be a reward on the free track at level 145 based on what they did for Echoes’ Season Pass Exotic. To the best of my knowledge they did not say what the Catalyst will do, but I imagine it will either cause collected Remnants to fill up the Alt-Fire bar more quickly or give some sort of buff for collecting them once the bar is at max (stacks of Frost Armor, a small buff to weapon damage, etc). (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

If they follow the same model as prior seasonal exotic weapons, both the exotic and the catalyst will tied to the season pass. Going off of how Red Death was offered this season Red Death was available at start of the paid track and rank 40 on the free track The catalyst was available at rank 145. (Keep in mind that the Rank 101 - 150 block was time gated until the start of the Act 2 of Echoes)
