I have been playing Destiny for a long time. I have all the DLCs. I enjoy playing. I play a void titan most of the time. I usually run with the ole Graviton Lance as an exotic. I have had it for a long time and kind of put it away for a while, then when I brought it back out, it seemed to have better add clearing abilities than I remember. My problem is I seem to have all/most of the exotic weapons and very good armor, I am not very often impressed when new exotic weapons come out. And most often they are not void weapons that I can use with my void titan. So, when the Choir of One became available, I went through all it took to get it. I was hoping it would replace my old Graviton Lance. But, I was saddened to learn the Choir of One uses special ammo. That makes it very difficult to use in bigger battles because special ammo doesn't drop often enough and I find myself out of ammo. And I do use the special ammo finder as a helmet mod. I normally use the heavy ammo finder in my helmet mod. So, if I do want to use this new exotic rifle, I have to give up any heavy ammo I may use for big bosses and still have to worry about not having enough special ammo. All this to try to make my titan build a little more fun to play with a new exotic. The problem is Bungie hasn't created any new exotic weapons (primary or energy, not heavy) I can use on my void titan that I can remember recently at all that I can use as a primary weapon that have any substance. Because of that, the same old missions and story line that much more boring to play. Which means I don't get on as often. Or I drop off and play other games. I know that it is Bungie's goal is how to make the game fun and playable for the beginning players and the players that have played a long time like me. But, did they really have to make this new exotic void rifle use special ammo? I would have thought they would design newer exotic weapons to in some way be better by being easier to implement into a build and not harder. I also know that the Bungie staff does keep an eye out for how they can make Destiny a better game by keeping an eye on the frustrations players like me are posting in these forums. I appreciate that and hope something can be done so this weapon is easier to use in builds like mine. If it's easier, create new exotic void weapons with better perks like kinetic ammo. I am sure this has been offered as an idea before but why not allow multiple exotic weapons and/or armor in a build in PVE to spice things up? Anyway, I am just a long time player trying to keep things fun and interesting so I can keep enjoying the game. If anyone reads this and has suggestions, I would welcome it. In the past, I have done solar and arc titan builds as well as a solar warlock :-)
