Name change token
My name got changed with the glitch when a slo of names got changed. The web said all players this happened to have received a free token to change their name back but I have not received one. How do I get this fixed?

11 RepliesEdited by BNGHelp10: 10/1/2024 10:26:14 AMHey there, if you can enter a new name into the name box, then (whether it gets accepted or not when you press submit) this means you do have a name change available. If you do not have a name change available, you can't enter a new name into the box, and it will say 'no name changes available' below it in red. If you can enter a new name and it is not being accepted, that's because the new name is being rejected by the filter. An old name, one that got reset, may also get rejected. Bungie have tried to unlock the unnecessarily changed old names so they can be re-used but are aware this has not worked for many people. Anyone unable to reuse their old name will have to wait for a further announcement on that.

1 ReplyBeen trying really hard to bite my tongue and keep myself from getting in trouble! But this crap has been going on for too long. Every time I log in and see the stupid "guardian" name, I want to uninstall and rage on whoever the clown was that came up with this trash idea.

1 ReplyTokens were issued but impacted players are still having an issue changing names. Myself included :( We just have to wait for a fix....
