Sever, while a potent is sort of just Blind or Suppress, but for strand (and lacks the stunning capabilities, thus why it’s effect is more potent in my consideration)
That, plus its relatively easy access both of Prismatic and Strand means I would much rather have a primary verb being used.
Every subclass has what I like to call secondary Subclass verbs, being subclass verbs that take a back seat in the grand scheme of things and don’t massively change the way someone approaches the game, rather simply, they enhance gameplay.
For Solar, this is Cure or Scorch. I would lean toward Cure because its effects can be replicated with an Armor Mod and is usually overshadowed by Restoration, while Scorch builds up to Ignitions and chains directly into quite a few other fragments.
For Void, like I said, it’s Suppression. Void is the single best subclass identity wise, so all of the Verbs play a major role, meaning the secondary usually has to be drawn toward the weaker of all the subclass verbs.
Arc is Blind and that’s because blind is just suppress but for Unstoppables. Blind is just overall weaker than everything else and has little utility. You could also say Speedbooster, but Speedbooster has been entirely absorbed by Amplified, so no point in saying that.
Stasis is where it gets tricky. Both Slow, Freeze, and Shatter are primary Subclass verbs. That leaves Shards, Crystals, and Frost Armor. We can instantly leave out Crystals because of their relation to Shatter. Frost Armor is more potent than Shards, but shards have an entirely dedicated Aspect to them, while Frost Armor requires only a fragment, and they don’t chain directly into any other fragment iirc. I’m leaning toward Frost Armor, but it could be interchangeable with Shards. Stasis is so bad that the last three subclass verbs I spoke about could be secondary, in comparison to Stasis.
Strand has Sever. I explained my reasoning before hand. It’s simply enhancing your gameplay, making you “tankier” by reducing outgoing damage of combatants. It’s doesn’t change how you approach an encounter because while you may be able to sever something, you don’t sever everything, compared to Woven Mail, which reduces all incoming damage.

While this all makes sense, my main reason for the change is the fact that suspend can intrinsically stun unstoppable champions. Mataiodoxia already has an intrinsic counter to barrier champions, so realistically, this one exotic can counter 2 champions. No other exotic armor with intrinsic anti champion traits can do that.

Fair, but that’s doesn’t necessarily make Matodoxia op. You NEED three arcane needle melees to stun an Unstoppable, or a group of add around the unstoppable. It’s not the best or most consistent at popping Unstops, so there is a balance to it. Furthermore, while it might be the only exotic armor, it’s not the only exotic in general. There is any build which employs Stasis in general (Slow and Freeze) thus making them plenty potent too. This includes any Stasis exotic that can slow in general.

I agree that the exotic being able to suspend doesn't necessarily make it op, and if that were the only buff it applied, I would definitely be all for it. But the fact that it already has a shield piercing intrinsic, I just can't not bring that up as an issue. I'll agree to disagree on that note. And yes, while stasis does have the potential to also stun 2 champions, that's mainly due to the lack of diverse debuffs stasis can apply, strand doesn't have that issue.
