They should make it worth getting to pinnacle cap
They should make it worth getting to pinnacle cap
It should've never been implemented. The point of power leveling is to feel more powerful for every level or 5 we grind. Master, Legend, ect...we should be able to feel powerful again.

Increasing the cap takes away some activities that we can currently play for no reason other than for us to get the +10. These are old activities, nothing new where the grind would make sense. Being locked out of them old content, even temporally, is an anti gamer practice.

I’m looking at you Salvation’s Edge.

Agreed. Minus power was one of the worst decisions ever. Even the power level from the artifact became useless when they first put it on other activities like Legend up. Power disabled for the Legend Campaign I am fine with as that is to help with getting to power cap for that dlc. After that it should never be a thing.

Totally agree

Forced power limits is/was a good thing only for legendary campaign and Gm Nightfall strikes, because those activities are specifically balanced for that system to work. Forcing power limits on everything feels like when Champions were in Shadowkeep, was done poorly and approximarively. On this forum there's an infinite stream of whine, but lots and lots rightfully complained how Neomuna felt horrible to explore because of this thing.

2 RepliesMax power hasn't felt worth getting to since forsaken. -5 is a solid level of difficulty that feels more akin to d1 gameplay. Given how strong we actually are even with basic builds (not even talking about hard meta options) on level and overlevelled content is mind numbingly boring (to me). I agree that max power SHOULD feel worth getting to. The only way I can see that being the case again is if they either completely rework the system or remove artifact power or just set activity power so high that you need max power to get to relative levels that we are currently capped at.

I don't mind the difficulty of stuff just the fact I have to grind the levels over and over again, however bungie should def up their game in terms of difficulty, their only innovation was tormentors and now they put those in any activity that they feel isn't hard enough, they aren't hard to get rid of per se, but I would like the different races inventing new weapons, using tactics, playing smart, like the moment in an activity that you use a large area of effect ability or gun, enemies will now be much less likely to group up, reducing the effectiveness of the ability at base, meaning that you will have to play around with them for them to group up, ofc tho if they have grouped spawns those won't likely change. Also, new enemy types per race, we got wyverns for vex, and we don't necessarily need something as tanky for eliksni or hive or smth, i get that for eliksni we have brigs, but those I rarely see that much, it would be cool to see augmented eliksni, higher ranking that captains and as they take damage, they lose prosthetic limbs. Hive could use more enemies too, i don't think they got that much in d2, lucent hive were added but the improvements were specifically for lucent hive variant. I think that difficulty should not only scale with power but should also start adding smarter enemies and perhaps new enemies, these new ones would prolly do better tho at all difficulty levels.

Just bring back WQ balance!

It seems silly anyway with team leveling as well, but if people want to chase it let them chase it.
