Bungie probably have player data, which shows that (mostly same) players play Destiny for more hours, when we have to grind for maximum level.
So 1+1=2 for Bungie.
They know people will put more hours in Destiny, again 😉

If this were normal times I’d agree with them, this isn’t normal times, player morale is at an all time low and a power increase is just going to make it worse. They already had to nail episode 2’s story and dungeon to get ppl to come back, now they need to be amazing to make ppl that left want to return and grind the same old crap again for power level.

4 RepliesIts just something for endgame players, which is a good term to use instead of hardcore players and casuals because its hard to tell what those two terms mean a lot of the time. And throughout the course of the beginning of the season it can help show how much endgame someone has done for lfg purposes and stuff like that. Other than that, if you don't do endgame stuff then that extra power level shouldn't really matter. Trials can be a different story when you get someone on your team that has a low power level, so maybe that should boost people all the way up too? Then people like me won't have to worry about it all when its time to go into trials and lose repetitively.

not really since is optional for all pve players, and only needed for trials players, plus with all the sources of pinnacle will take 2 week max to reach the cap so lol
