- Barricade, Unbreakable, and Sentinel Shield will now also function a a taunt
- Barricades getting defensive buffs (PvE)
- Unbreakable regens nade energy after blocking damage (also some PvP nerfs to keep it from being annoying)
- Void Overshield buffed (PvE)
-Diamond lanced buffed (mostly PvE focused)
- Knockout healing buffed
- Shiver strike huuuuuge functionality and movement buffs while also nerfing the ability to melee immediately after
- small buffs to unpowered melee that add some flavor to Titan identity
Notable buffs to Void Axes and Tcrash as well
Overall huge Ws for titans. Excited to try these out and looking forward to seeing the Exotic armor buffs

2 RepliesAgreed. Everyone is too busy throwing a tantrum over a power ban raise to realize how powerful theses changes are.

2 RepliesI think them leaning into titans being ACTUAL tanks is a really big move. Yes there are a bunch of general increases for quality of life, but these are important changes for the classes identity. Titans have been tanks because of health regen or just flat out mitigation, but the class didn't actually TANK for the team. This helps improve upon that and I hope they lean into it harder.

2 RepliesSo will "punching class" Titans have any OHK melee ability without using an exotic?

Does this buff the super?), will want to run harvest aspect for more melee, question of running howl of the storm vs. diamond lance in pve (or just use Cadmus for lances🤷). - pvp buff that will affect almost nothing, and pve that I wonder will stack with offensive bulwark, roaring flames, and knockout (wonder what warlocks and hunters will get). - tcrash does some more damage, twilight arsenal pick ups too. Things that are still needed at minimum (personal thoughts). - stasis shard healing buff (since no more overshields this can get a buff and not wreck pvp). - arc titan still needs DR for melee builds potential add some to juggernaut in pve (I like touch of thunder but arc titan really only has 2 aspects for pve at the moment). - change juggernaut to not block the players entire health bar (I like to see how much health I have when being shot in the back). - have unbreakable give a 10sec overshield instead of 5 like every other source of void overshields do (seriously why 5 seconds).

1 ReplyMe swapping my bounty prepping focus to Titan for the dungeon…. Void and Prismatic Titan looking pretty good with these changes.

1 ReplyI hope the t crash buff is good, it will give me something else to use

8 RepliesThey do, but I'm honestly really annoyed that they completely ignored weak abilities on other classes. Stormcaller is about as strong as the subclasses they buffed and the only change there is an extra few points of DR is super. I really hope they plan to spotlight the weak subclasses hunters and warlocks have at some point.

7 RepliesI agree. I’m mainly looking forward to the Tcrash buff. This might be a dumb question, but would that mean the 33% damage buff will stack with cuirass of the falling star?
-
3 RepliesHang on, does that mean when you use shiver strike as a movement tool, you just get 80% of it back? Am I reading that right?
-
22 RepliesEdited by Bore: 9/19/2024 7:01:09 PMI am a little sad that I not be able to instant kill people with shiver strike anymore though 😢 Oh well. Other buffs make up for it.

15 RepliesEdited by jhermannITJ: 9/19/2024 7:23:26 PMVexcalibur is going to be meta. Void Titan will also have 100% immunity as a true tank. To clarify, if the metrics reported are accurate... a Titan that can keep their barricade up will be immune to 'all'? dmg and be able to kite and hold most aggro. And that should be relatively easy to maintain with Vexcalibur or the Void Titan aspect. Cross class synergy... a Hunter or Warlock could tank effectively using Vexcalibur in a barricade too.

7 RepliesDon’t like the sound of shiver strike as a movement tool… shoulder charge as a movement was absolutely busted
