Warlock blink melee

With the current state of pvp I feel it’s worth mentioning the absurdity that this melee has flown under the radar. This melees range and damage potential being high enough to quite literally team wipe and hit through hard surfaces is wild to me. I understand hunters have a slide melee but it does not do nearly as much damage nor does it arc chain to multiple enemies. The range of the warlock slide melee also gives it a major advantage over every other melee in the game. Doesn’t matter if it hits you or not the arc chains will and will hit for nearly half health It’s early shoulder charge-with feedback fence levels of strong if more than two enemies are within a 20 m radius Plus the fact they can get that melee off not 2 BUT THREE TIMES is kinda insane. I play on all three classes and that class by far feels like it dominates crucible in every manner. Mobility, speed ability strength and versatility. And since smoke bombs got needed to less than 1/3 of what they were capable of I felt It was appropriate to say something about this overpowered melee ability. Feedback appreciated, (dont be toxic)

  • In my opinion, with Hunter tracking 54-56% in trials every single week, anything that might pull players off hunter so that gamers can see variety beyond a full stack of hunters, would be a good thing. Until the full stacks of hunter situation is fixed, I don't think titan or warlock nerfs should even be looked at, and from a balance standpoint seems pretty silly to complain about Lightning Surge (or Ice Lance) I used to play crucible near everyday. I have not touched it since final shape because of the hunter situation. I am not interested in another shatterdive experience. (super hunter meta) Until variety is brought back to the sandbox I don't see the low population numbers in the crucible turning around anytime soon. Sadly gamers like you trying to convince Bungie to keep hunters at the top by a large margin only serves to keep population numbers low, and matches more sweaty. Kind of self defeating imo.
