Remove the final shape legend step from guardian rank 8 for year 10 title!
Title triumph 1/7 reach rank 8. Requirment complete all final shape campaign missions on legend. AND cooperative missipns x3.
Year 10 is a free event for all players and yet locked behind a paid triumph/rank 😅 i got the dlc but friends/clan/irl friends either busy or on break. Lfg still requires you to run a dlc campaign for a free event to all players (wich cannot get the title) just trying to look out for them as it aint fair

1 ReplyThe title was never announced as being free. In the article announcing the 10 year stuff they specifically said you had to complete the legendary campaign. So it isn’t like they were hiding that fact. So while it may suck for people playing for free, it was made clear that you had to buy The Final Shape in order to get the title. The main gripe could be solo only players since getting ranks 7 and 8 requires the co-op missions. But those are still doable so long as you put forth the effort to do them.

Honestly, just remove guardian ranks, it's a failed experiment, for a multitude if reasons that have detracted from the experience rather than added in the long run.

7 RepliesI would think that a 10-year title could be earned across the 10 years. Recognizing all the players that contributed. Not just post TFS. 10 ways to unlock it. If you completed any 5 then you earn the title. For example: 1) Participated in any of the D1 or D2 Alphas or Betas. 2) Completed a raid in D1. 3) 1000+ hours in D1. 4) 1000+ hours in D2 5) Completed the Red War campaign on any difficulty. 6) Completed a raid in D2. 7) Completed a dungeon on any difficulty. 8) Completed TFS on any difficulty. 9) 1000+ PVP kills D1 & D2 combined. 10) Reached guardian rank 10 in any season/episode.

6 RepliesFor something that was meant to celebrate 10 years of a franchise, I find it odd that what is required for the title is lack-luster and doesn't really showcase the entirety of the franchise or what the individual player has done over the years. Hell the Age of Triumphs from Destiny 1 did a better job at showcasing a player's accomplishments over the course of 3 plus years when it was introduced in 2017.

I'm a rank 5 guardian and it's taken me multiple seasons to derank to 5 and I'm not losing all that progress for the most worthless title in the game. I agree, remove that requirement please.

I’ve done the missions on legendary plus the coop missions which really sucked but they didn’t count for guardian rank.. so I ain’t doing it again hahaha

4 RepliesThis is Bungle forcing team play because Marathon will be solo only and they know how many players don't want that. They figure if they put out a big enough carrot that we'll play teams. I play solo so I won't get it after paying their bills for ten years. Typical. Not-playing-Marathon.

LFG still requires you to run the campaign? What does that even mean?

1 ReplyIf it was my decision, I would have made the seal more difficult to obtain. It makes no sense for everyone to be able to get the 10-year seal even if it meant that you only played D2 for 12 months plus. Stop moaning and get grinding because if you played D1, you needed planetary materials to upgrade weapons and armours. Can you imagine Bungie doing that now?
