10th anniversary title Among Friends triumph
I tested out a way to achieve this and do iron banner at the same time. You can put on the actual Veteran Legend Armor you get from the 5 Cayde stash chests and equip iron banner ornaments. It satisfies both wear a full set of the legend gear and the 5 items from iron banner requirements.

Edited by Felweed: 9/13/2024 11:17:15 AMthis only works (wearing veteran and using IB ornaments) if you've already paid the synthweave bolts to unlock IB ornaments for use on non-IB gear. unfortunately, found this out the hard way because the "unlock" button doesn't indicate you'll be spending bolts (like it does for most other items), but you definitely will use up your bolts. whoops. (: the reverse is highly recommended however (wear IB gear and use the new free Veteran ornaments that don't need bolts), if you're trying to be conservative with bolts!
