Powerful Gear(tier 2)
“Powerful Gear Tier 2: A Legendary engram that will always drop at +4 levels above your current highest-level equipable items.“
Is this still relevant in TFS? Because none of my rewards are dropping higher than my gear level, and they haven’t since I hit 1999. This seems to happen to me every season.
I currently have a tier 2 reward waiting at HELM but I know it won’t be higher than 1999 like all the ones before.
Is this a bug or have rewards been nerfed as well?

They'll drop at light after you reach 1990, so they can be higher than a slot or lower depending on what your power is. For increasing after 1990 (+2s) you need pinnacle drops.

Powerful gear increases your power until you hit the powerful cap for the season. The powerful cap for this season is 1990. Once you hit the powerful cap, only pinnacle rewards will further your power gain.
