Skywatch Engrams - 10th Anniv
Hoping for RNGeezus to bequeath 16 random azz engrams to you while patrolling Skywatch??

If only there was some sort of nice round number associated with the event that could've been used instead. Also, gunsmith engrams not counting is stupid as hell.

1 ReplyBungie has intentionally lowered the drop rate of the engrams so people can run around like headless chickens. If you go to any other area in the game, you will see the engrams drop like they usually do. Its quite sad that on twitter they said that they are upping the enemies in the area lol..they do not get what people are trying to say here. The enemies are not the problem

Two Hours and just 13%. Even with the Ogre "Farm" Method. This is the worst -blam!- I've ever seen in this Game.

Edit: they also say they are "aware" of this issue, and said it will be addressed...soon. But not UNTIL people have grinded like maniacs already. And that's just to KEEP the ones logged in that haven't completed it yet. Classic bait. They create problems that they already have the fix for, then come in like saints with a "solution".

It definitely was a pain but I got it done in about an hour or so by farming that random ogre that spawns.

The problem is that blues don’t drop anymore since basically everyone is above the gear level where they stop. If they still had a QA team to test this they would have realized the problem.

1 ReplyWhy are we mad about this? It is day freaking two guys since it went live, you have plenty of time to do this. No need to just sit and farm only skywatch for days on end. Other titles require weeks or months to complete duo to rotating factors. This can be done in 1 day or more. Big whoop. I myself just got that triumph done. So my grind is over on that part. My strat: re-drop into the location over and over again till you get a living ogre in the cliff room. Kill it for ball drops. Might it take some time? Yes. But not everything needs to be instant gratification.

5 RepliesI love this game, but stuff like this makes me hate it at times. This challenge is uncreative and lazy, purely designed to waste players time. I don't mind a grind and i also don't need to get all things done on the first day. But going into the patrol zone "skywatch" specifically every day for an hour to kill red bars in hopes of having them drop an engram... seriously... it boggles the mind...

They'll address it...AFTER people have grinded first. This is the way. It's a win-win for them. Almost as if it were.....planned....this ...way.... 🧐
