It's hard to say but Echoes seems like the death of destiny. The overall sentiment has changed and what was a decent at its best story is now over. I do not see much left and have put this game down. I haven't even started act 3 and find it is not worth it. With talent leaving or being forced out. It worries me if destiny will ever have big story moments again. Maybe The Final Shape should have been the true ending.
If you see the content creators looking towards other games you know the writing is on the walls also.
Just my opinion.

2 RepliesSo you saw Aztec's video and decided to steal what he said about avengers End Game.... Get a brain of your own.... Pathetic.

Not your opinion, baby birdy. Content creators keeping their flock well fed as usual.

They will keep pumping out anything as long as people pay. Just stop paying and they will either be forced to make it better or shut it down which I think most hardcore players want anyway. It's disappointing to see how they've thrown this game in the trash

Aged like milk in the hot sun.

You know Marvel is just itching to say there are other versions of Thanos from different timelines It's not over, not by a Longshot Avengers Reckoning will be about the resurgence of Thanos and trying to reassemble the team

7 RepliesEdited by The Hermit IX: 9/9/2024 1:30:40 PMYou have so much excellent content from FS that you haven’t touched, that it would keep you busy for months. If I had a dime for everyone one of these exact type of posts over the last seven years, I’d own controlling stakes at Bungie. Somehow, someway D2 will survive and keep chugging along without you.

Pretty easy to say Echoes is not the death of Destiny given the content that's going to keep coming lol. Whether it's content you personally like or not is irrelevant. And this would be far from the first time content creators have played other things during a Destiny dry spell. When new content drops they coooooome back. Golfish memory in action.

For me echoes is just like every other season we had, except that I find it difficult to get excited for maya as an enemy after fighting the likes of Oryx, Crota, Rhulk etc. Hopefully the next episode will feature a real baddie.

Content creators are in panic mode right now, they put all their eggs in one basket and that basket is falling apart. Also I’m guessing many are doing the I quit Destiny vids because doom and gloom gets views. This blog post today could very well kill this game if it doesn’t get ppl excited for the future of D2, I’m a die hard and even I’m having trouble giving a crap about grinding weapons, what’s the point if it’s going to be dead after ep 3

It was a weak send-off, and now it's dying.

i’m willing to stick around til the dreadnaught episode

You know what will fix the game and make it better? More nerfs, nerf more weapons and exotic armor.
