No matchmaking for Encore?
Am I missing something? Soloed it to get the gun, but have no desire to do that again. Is there seriously no matchmaking for this??? Have to solo to advance the “story?” Tell me this is a joke….

I believe Bungie said they are fixing the issue with Encore missing from the in-game fireteam finder in the next patch. But you can use the legacy fireteam finder on this website/app and enter Encore in the title to find people.

Epesodic/Exotic Quest rotator.

As stated by ScriptMania, people tend to use episodic/exotic quest rotator for it. It's however beyond me how under-utilized MM is in general - there are so many things that, for no reason, isnt in fireteam finder.

It’s actually not that bad to solo on expert they just added a few champions, the boss fight is basically the same. Stay behind the pillars then peek and shoot, when the boss goes to centre then get to the left side, there are two pillars close to each other, get behind them and shoot in between them, when you find the sweet spot you can shoot the boss without taking much damage. Also at least two void resist mods and/ or concussive dampener help.

Do what I do, solo to the boss room, nice & chill, you can run thru lots of it when you get familiar, once at the boss room lfg for 2 on the legacy finder on here, say boss room need 2, people join fast & he gets melted.
