PRASMATIC HAS COMPLETELY RUINED PVP
I don’t even think I have to say anything, everyone already knows how insanely busted prismatic is and tbh I really think people that don’t have prismatic shouldn’t be matched against people with prismatic because it’s a completely one sided game. prismatic practically plays the game for u and practically make guns obsolete. The amount of times Iv been killed by only abilities is unbelievable people don’t even try and shoot their gun anymore it’s just smoke swarm grenades slow dodge with threaded Spector diamond lance back to back to back like wtf is the point of a primary anymore it’s unreal. I’m so sick of this no skill ability spam meta it’s not even funny, it feels like every expansion destiny gets worse and worse bungie keep pushing out extremely overpowered sht when no one asks for it , it’s like their saying “oh u didn’t like how busted and overpowered the last subclass was guess what we doubled down and made this subclass even more overpowered” like wtf is going through bungies head to think this sht is in anyway fair or balanced because it’s fking not

The new subclass since witch queen need to hit in pve. To do this pvp needs to suffer. Bungie acknowledges a long time ago that this will be there vision. It use to be a balance in pvp and pve before a dlc came out. See taken king house of wolves etc. But ever since d2y1 pvp has not living up to bungie hype so they switch to the pve base game mode with there train station philosophy. Now we are stuck in a make pve good, fix pvp after the dlc comes out. All the way back to beyond light (Stasis). So yeah each time a new dlc drops pvp will suffer untill almost a year later then the have a decent grab on what to change but yeah you guess it new content baby so pvp will suck lol. You just have to love it. PvP is not there main focus so if you get bored just play other games

In the 10 years of Destiny never EVER have I seen people happy about the pvp meta. Not once. Yes now in retrospect people point out Destiny 1 was fine, The Handcannon + Shotgun meta was fine and maybe 1 or 2 other moments but NEVER EVER during those metas. The complaining about pvp never stops. People should accept it or leave it like most people, stop hoping for something that never was there to begin with.

Yup. Here I am waiting for my cooldowns on abilities to end and these prismatic seem to have non stop abilities. Not fun at all.

3 RepliesStrandlock is the only strand subclass with a 1 tap * ability in the game (The astricks is their because it can be quite inconsistent) Solarlock is the fastest subclass in the game especially in PvP. Void Hunter has the best Invis and Stasis Titan is arguably better than prismatic in PvP, though it’s close. Sure, Prismatic brings a host of unique combos that can be especially potent in PvP (looking at you Hunters) but those unique combos are all that prismatic has going for it, and different playstyles can not be achieved. The exception to this rule is Arc because Arc just sucks all around.

Bro there are so many other things that ruined pvp well before prismatic. To start let’s go back several years when they removed cbmm and forced us into terrible laggy sweat fest games. Prismatic literally combined the best of all subclasses because they ran out of ideas….idk how….everyone would have loved a siva subclass….but hey….here we are. There no sense in running anything else. Honestly, wouldn’t mind if it got removed from the game lol.

Before that was introduced PvP was pretty chill and fun, most ppl didn’t give a crap because you received rewards win or lose. Now every weekend is full of people complaining about classes and getting killed by space magic in a game about space magic, it’s hilarious.

The only solution is different modes. There should be your casual pvp, a mode where it's guns only, and other modes like mayhem where abilities and super recharge faster. Destiny has always been about abilities, I don't understand when you guys just randomly decided to -blam!- and moan about it. If you don't like abilities, just ask for a mode that has nothing but gunplay. I'm so sick tired of these nerfs and crying, "ohh, a grenade killed me, oh hunters knife op, oh warlocks turrets to op, titans (insert ability) is up way to long" etc, etc...that's why pvp sucks, and is stale, ain't no1 wants to play guns only, if that's really what you want like I said, ask for a mode that only allows that, or go play CoD Edit: And honest to God, that hasn't been my experience. The crap I deal with is special ammo, not 1 game even in comp do I see anyone in my group or other team fall for smoke, specter, or any of the things you guys complain about. Makes me think it might be a skill issue or those that love to ape

Specter not an issue Slow not an issue I’ve had trouble with smoke but I work around it. Swarm can’t kill by itself other grenades can My experience has been, special ammo. 10-12 guardians on average in my lobbies all equip shotguns sometimes you get a few fusions mixed in either way Bungie dumps ammo like rainfall. Bungie’s desire for equity is the root cause for unbalanced matchmaking IMO
