My Steam account was hacked a couple of weeks ago by someone in The Netherlands. I recovered my account within 36 hours but by then the perpetrator had accessed Destiny and used hacks/cheats to presumably do carries in Trials. As such, I received a lifetime ban from Bungie. I have been playing since 2016, this is my favorite game of all time, and I have confirmation from Steam that my account was compromised, and that I was not the one who did this. I submitted a ban appeal nearly two weeks ago, and provided Bungie with as many screenshots as possible to prove that I am innocent. Is there anything else I can do? Really heartbreaking to lose something I love due to someone else's actions. Is it normal for this to take 2 weeks? I saw somewhere that said it only takes 1-2 business days for Bungie to respond.

4 RepliesBan appeals can take a month or more to be reviewed. You, in most cases, wont be given a response unless they lift the ban/need more info. If 5/6 weeks pass without the ban being lifted, it's fairly safe to assume that the appeal has already been reviewed and denied, and the ban wont be lifted. All you can really do is wait to see if it gets lifted.
