No weak point on shield of the Choral Mind (glitch)
Tried Encore: Overture (Expert) twice now. Same thing happens every time at the last encounter.
At the very last encounter with the Choral Mind, after damaging it below 1/2 health, there is no weak point on his shield to shoot at, in order to break/take down his shield and continue the encounter. Furthermore he's stuck in the opposite quadrant of the entrance/main stage where he cannot be shot at because there are red walls on both sides of him. So basically, cannot continue with the encounter.
Anyone else seen/reported this?
Will there be a fix for this?
This happens to be twice in row now.

Weird it only does this bug going in solo for me...If the 1st plate is on the left just WIPE yes it sucks cause they obviously don't have testers at Headquarters. I had to wipe four times yesterday before it went Right First. Then it was infinite 1k shots for the W! 😆

1 ReplyI've only done the mission twice so feel free to correct me. My understanding of the boss phase is: Use green in center to scan vex node, sends boss to left or right. Take green back out (or get another green) and put it on the side of the room with the boss. Capture the Vex plate on the new platform, Shoot diamond on boss to start damage phase. Repeat. Then after boss gets to half health it spawns the red walls and you need to use the blue buffs to activate the portals so you can traverse the left/middle/right areas. So if you were on one side and boss was on the other, sounds like you needed to go to the other side and cap the plate to break boss shield?

Same here, wasted a few hours on this. NO Diamond to break to start a second phase, or Hydra ends up on the wrong side of the "Wall of Death" with no way to damage. Respawned numerous times to try to move forward ...Oh, and ads stop spawning .....

I had this yesterday and had to restart the boss fight a few times. For me it seemed when I did too much damage in one go it then glitches out. I got the completion after restarting and trying to space dmg out a bit.
