PvP is garbage
If the PvP team got laid off, then I hope Sony actually hires competent people to take their place. PvP in Destiny needs a HUGE overhaul.
This, of course, includes comp. Comp is an awful playlist.
Bungie should look into bringing back gamemodes from D1 that were actually fun, like Salvage and Combined Arms.

In every aspect of the game, Bungie needs to stop making a game to appeal to try hards. Stop listening to streamers and sweats. Make the game better for the casual player in PvP and PvE. That’s the only way you’re going to grow this game again.

Literally joined a game of comp just 10 mins ago. Took 8 mins to find a game, then load in 2 people on the other team teleporting....left immediately will never play PvP again. Trials last week was no different half the games people teleporting around. PvP used to be my life on this game, now it is laughably bad on a good day. Good thing Bungo listened to the worst players in the game about MM and ruined it forced middle level players to quit. You either get stomped or stomp because balancing has no clue what to do anymore. But hey at least Jimmy 2 fingers can play his 3 games of crucible a week and still lose, then not play PvP again.

It's still trash it's just the best trash. It's the only playlist that doesn't feel completely one-sided 100% of the time. Instead, it feels one-sided 50% of the time. Tho if u broke down the team skill it most likely is one sided 100% of the time. Destiny is the one game with pvp that I don't care about losing simply because I know it 100% has to do with the fact there is nothing I can do. Either the match making will guarantee me a win or it will guarantee me a loss. It's so bad that I can AFK in the back and majority of the time the result will be the same either way. That's why I never understood why ppl get upset about ppl quitting, u were gonna lose with them anyways. What difference does it make now that ur losing without them 🤣. I mean match making is so awful that the winning team can have a player quit and still win by a landslide.

Hot Take: Let PvP die. That way the devs have no excuse for nerfing anything for the sake of balancing for PvP.

If you aren't having fun, record or clip the match and watch over what you could've done right/what you did wrong that would have helped you win the match. TBH most times bad teammates make some games unwinnable, so in those games, I determine if I did good on a match if I have a positive KA/D by the end of the match. - High skill pvp player

I can hold my own in sbmm matches in this game. 1.57 kda. Im not great like you, but i dont suck either. I have bad matches and really good ones but overall im top 37% yet i have no friends because people suck on here being ab ahole to anyone.
