Was this Episode/season inspired by Star War: Acolyte?

After watching the opening cinematics for Act 3 on Tuesday, I couldn't help but be reminded of that Leslye Headland interview in which her and some of her writers referred to Acolyte as the "gayest star wars" ever. Since Acts 1 and 2 focused heavily on Osiris and Saints' relationship rather than the plot, and Act 3 is apparently going to focus on Maya and Chiomas relationship. Furthermore, it seemed odd and contradictory that Maya referred to Saint as a mistake from a false timeline, and yet she is apparently trying to do the same thing Osiris did by trying to find a timeline in which Chioma agreed with her and then pull that Chioma to the current timeline. Not to mention, Maya even taught us for being in a false timeline during the exotic mission, despite the fact that she is trying to make her own false timeline. So, in another shocking similarity, this whole episode/season seems to be just as badly written.

  • I completely agree. There nothing wrong with characters being gay but there is something wrong when its their entire character and its over used. Same as retconning characters to make them gay just because its "progressive"
