Bungie can u bring us back the Icebreaker exotic sniper from D1
BUNGIE PLEASE BRING US BACK THE EXOTIC SNIPER FROM DESTINY 1 THE ICEBREAKER... AND ITD BE NICE IF UD BRING BACK the hunger of crota TYPE ROCKET LAUNCHERS OR AT LEAST MAKE A ROCKET LAUNCHER HAVING TRACKING CLUSTER BOMBS LIKE THE HUNGER DID

I was a Christmas Noob in D1. I started right after The Dark Below released, so I missed when Xur sold Gally. The first exotic weapon I got was Icebreaker from Xur. That gun's sheer (pre-nerf) power allowed me to finally do some endgame activities like Nightfalls. I used it along with good ole' Hunger of Crota to defeat both Atheon and Crota for the first time. Good memories. I don't miss how Icebreaker's Firefly explosions often froze the game, though...

Hey brother just so you know we currently have a couple rockets with tracking module and cluster bomb. Blowout from the crucible, roar of the bear from Iron banner, and cold comfort from the ghosts of the deep dungeon. There may be more though. However the issue is that both tracking module and cluster bomb have been nerfed into the ground. The tracking is horrible and won't even come close to hitting especially with all the hunters dodging and jumping like crazy and cluster bomb just tickles you if you get caught in it. Not really any good in Pve either aside from a few niche scenarios.

2 Replies1, Bungie doesn't exist anymore, so you might as well be addressing this to Sony. 2, Most of the exotics in this game are useless so why ask Sony to bring back a weapon that will just get nerfed for the umpteenth time because they sell hype, not balance that you will end up throwing it in the vault as you literally did in Destiny 1? 3, Having weapons from Destiny 1 brought over into Destiny 2 makes no sense at all when the weapons from Destiny 1 won't be as their former self. By doing what they have ruined the entire experience of what the weapons were designed for, and that is Destiny 1. Somethings, but in this case a lot of things should have been left alone. 4, The main problem with this is that over the years this community, not all but some have constantly asked for weapons to be brought over are ignoring the fact that by doing this with this recycling company, the recycling company doesn't really put any effort into designing new weapons, let alone unique weapons as Destiny 1 had.

It would need a significant rework. Infinite regen ammo would be OP (even if I'd like it) but other than that, it's just a firefly sniper on kills. It would need something to make it feel more "exotic"

Times were simpler in Destiny when the Icebreaker could shine. There is too much competition in Destiny 2. If anything, bring back No Land Beyond for PvP players. That’s what I’ve always wanted and I’m sure others do as well
