I'm interested to find out what will happen when I don't buy the next episode because I only bought the $50 DLC version, on a side note how many seasonal challenges did you turn in to finish seasonal reward track all the way up to 200. Edit Who puts the exotic mission on the first step on a quest .

2 RepliesEdited by |sp0ck: 8/28/2024 1:36:41 PMMy two nephews want to buy all the DLC for destiny 2 I've told them not to do it because it'll be a complete waste of money reason I say this by the middle of next year destiny 2 will be dead. It's a game that is not worth spending any more money on. It will take a miracle to save this game and have to be one hell of a good miracle that's for sure.I don't even think Sony could save this game.

Edited by Northern: 8/31/2024 12:00:54 AMI have no interest in playing boring episodic content.

Why would you say scratch that when you could’ve just deleted it?

50 RepliesI just turned it on and saw the opening cutscene. Guess we are in for another gay love story
-
5 RepliesSame. I gave Episodes a fair shake. But episodes have all the same problems, shallowness, and staleness as the seasonal model. I think this may be my off ramp.
-
1 ReplyDude I bought it and haven't played for 2 months lol!
-
2 RepliesIt was a terrible decision to put a glitched, long, boring exotic mission at the beginning of the season. It should not be tied to the season quest. Really disappointed, again. That's twice, recently, so shame on me.
-
I also bought just the $50 version. I had 29 seasonal challenges waiting to turn in. Went from 150 to rank 200 with 23 or 24 turned in today. I enjoyed the exotic mission, but overall, not digging episode 1 as a whole. Don’t think I can justify buying episode 2 and 3 if it’s just gonna be silly fetch quests for the main “story.” And if they’re supposed to be self contained stories, I don’t see how this first episode is going to wrap itself up in a satisfying way.

2 RepliesLet’s catalogue everything we got this season- I MEAN EPISODE. 3 new battlegrounds, just like seasons. Sure, they were larger than most any other battleground we got before but they are still the same number and same experience. A couple nondescript pointless seasonal activities that genuinely have no connection or point to be apart of the season, mind you, they are all pretty boring. The primary seasonal activity is again, nothing new. There has been NO change to Nessus, unlike what was supposedly advertised. This would have been a big -blam!- for the Episodes. Giving old worlds new outfits. 1 exotic mission, just like previous seasons. A couple other weapons. It’s just a season with worse pacing and the same amount of content. I feel like Bungie promised us more content, and I understand that this is the DLC Season, so it might be worse in comparison, but Bungie had done nothing to prove to the waining playerbase that they will bring something new. Honestly, Bungie should have gone back to the 3 yearly expansion system with 1 large and 2 small expansions.

Could be worse. Since I didn’t go track down what ever I was supposed to grind for I think I don’t even get to access act 3. And there is really no way I am finishing act 2 so that must be how game interaction ends

Edited by Yoshi32123: 8/28/2024 4:54:20 PMI'm helping all the solo players that don't want to do the mission, run the mission. Either type `/join Yoshi32123#2320` in the command window in-game (might be full) or join this server to queue in. My friend and I will be in voice while running it, but you don't need to be: https://discord.gg/6nxpUHUa5W Come get it done, ezpz

1 ReplyLol so blown out of proportion. It’s lore accurate for these characters. Grown men bent outta shape about an old guy and his robot lover lmao. The maya sundresh arc is kinda tragic, dark and twisted if you payed attention to what’s going on in the exotic mission. It’s science fiction, bet y’all don’t feel the same way about Wanda and Vision though, that’s ok. 👍 just say you’re all -blam!- and call it a day.

Edited by Yoshi32123: 8/28/2024 1:33:46 PMGive your availability and I’ll be glad to help if the mission is too daunting.

1 ReplyIt’s a pretty easy mission, a quick LFG post, no mic required, you should be able to get I done. 👍

7 RepliesEdited by Yoshi32123: 8/28/2024 8:46:42 AMITS NOT HARD. Lfg a team and beat it ezpz. I thought it was a very cool mission and not difficult in the slightest. Wish-keeper mission was required for last seasons too and I didn’t see anyone complaining. That mission was harder than this one too

I got up to 189 with the seasonal bounties. I'm now 194 or something like that.
-
Same boat. After I hit 150 I saved alllll those bad boys. Gonna log in and see how I did. It’s an expectation changer. I thought they would drag it out for another week or 2 but if it’s already ready, noice 👌🏼

1 ReplyEh, I'm getting my money's worth
