I just did a full run of Grasp of Avarice and got armor in ALL chests. See, this is one of the reasons we don't wanna play your game

Then why do you keep playing ??? I quit a couple months ago and i saw the same exact posts like they are posting now . Still crying about pvp , the matchmaking , the loot , that most recent gun that is OP and needs to be nerfed and so on ... What are you gonna do when gta 6 comes out ? Play the new season of destiny so you can complain about the same stuff like everyone else who grinds this game daily ?? Help me understand .. i played for 6k hours and i wonder why people still play .

10 RepliesSome people will make stupid comments, but you are correct. The loot system in this game is one of the most unrewarding ones there is in gaming, and gamers won't stick around having to deal with a broken system that is by design.

Never got the exotic on this one and stopped running it after all my friends had their stuff done. Dungeons are slot machines and the majority of times you pull it and get armor with -blam!- rolls. The trick is stop paying for and playing the dungeons. I run Warlord’s Ruin to help buddies with the catalyst, and once they have it done I will quit that one too without ever getting that -blam!- crossbow. After that I’m not buying or playing dungeons because there are way better ways to spend your time in game. Or better, spend it in another game where putting in time and effort gives loot.

1 ReplyMakes me mad! As someone who legit gets 75-80% armor, I have posted many times that as a looter shooter we should have options as our rewards. Have 2 chests. One with armor, one with weapons. Problem solved.

Yes dungeon loot is stingy. Only one drop per chest and weighted to much for armor. That's why I don't play the dungeons but once for completion.

It should just be credit earned to trade in for loot you want. The random loot can be exciting but is most often a huge pile of garbage immediately disassembled and therefore not worth the time of saner players.

Armor should drop ALONG the weapons. Having them dropping instead of the weapons is garbage. The farm in this game is so stale, for real.

Unless they finally implement a reliable means of farming dungeon weapons or allow us to craft them, I'm never going to farm them for it. I'll just take my completion and go. We can craft, focus, and/ or reliably target farm like 90% of the other weapons in the game, why can't we do it for dungeons? Raids NFs Vanguard Crucible Gambit Banshee Zone specific weapon types like Neomuna and Dreaming City Dares weapons Even previous seasonal weapons like Haunted and Seraph through the exotic missions Why would I waste effort grinding a New Purpose pulse rifle for example when I can craft a Disparity with the exact roll I want, I already have several comparable if not better base Messengers, and I have 2 god rolls for Stay Frosty? At the very least, if they're never going to add craftable weapons, or at least a way to focus/ target farm them, I'd settle for transmogs instead. It's not like anyone would notice nor would it make a difference if my Warden's Law looked like Bold Endings for example.

Honestly dungeons deserve better than this Honestly I pray for a new dungeon drop actually So I can farm WR for BB But honestly this rng is dog water to the point where devs just haven’t made it even a fair fight at all Where it seems the community can’t enjoy it as much as they do raiding At least they try to theme it well but at the same time GOTD ain’t worth my time

Dungeons have been GROSSLY neglected when it comes to player agency. The absolute worst grind in the game by far. If the newer dungeons from this year aren’t craftable or don’t have attunement that will be BEYOND disappointing.

When going through a dungeon on master difficulty, armor is the far more desirable drop to obtain (and more likely).
