Exotic class items
Bungee could you make these attainable by solo players? I’m tired of not been able to get the new exotics because I have to be in a fireteam, I’m pretty sure a lot of other players feel the same.

Absolutely not. The mission is fantastic the way it's designed. You so-called "solo players" are whiny and annoying as hell.

2 RepliesAs a person who has the item on all classes, and grinded for specific rolls as well. I don't see why there shouldn't be a solo way to obtain them. I don't care if they add it, this is a video game, and everyone should be able to obtain it as a solo player.

Honestly, everyone gets bent out of shape because of these class items. I haven't even unlocked the quest yet because, well, the game is doing nothing to motivate me to even play it. As for the whole thing about Bungie being hard on Solo players. I'm mainly a Solo player, but when I need to get a mission done for what I want I get a team. I get that people have issues with socializing and people can be toxic, but remember, you're most likely never going to see these people again, forget them and move on. I stopped really caring about this game and the only reason I got the expansion is to see it to the end. It's up to Bungie to make me wanna care about his game again and if they can't oh well. It was fun, I have no problem walking away because it's just a game and there will be others. Peace all.

I agree, I saw DMG tweet they are now for sale at Xur Logged in and went to Xur and it says "must be unlocked 1st" I have NEVER seen Xur sell any other exotic that said you must unlock it 1st, he always sells items players might not have yet, that has been his function since D1 and Gjallarhorn was sold so players with bad RNG can get the item, it was even a joke "you didn't earn that, you Xur'd it" for players that just bought exotics WTF Bungie so anyway I turned the game off and came here to forums, now I'm gonna go play OTHER games

3 RepliesA bunch of the responses are just toxic grow up. One of the biggest issues for solo players finding a teammate is that the player count is at an all time low. Hard to find a partner if barely anyone is playing the mission with newbies.

I'm on PSN as well and happy to help, if you can use a mic and speak English I will run Dual Destiny with you. I am patient and no pressure no matter how many fails there may be or days needed. My PSN ID is the same as my forum ID so send me a FR and mention it's from the forum. I'm in UK but play odd hours as I'm old and retired usually 0030 to 0300 BST is when I'm available after doing my fireteam stuff for the night.

1 ReplyI just want to know the reasoning. Is it that you can’t find someone (nice) to do it with? No mic? Or is it because of crippling social anxiety? This game really is the best when you’re able to play with others. If it’s due to the first reason, there’s sherpa sections in multiple discords. I’ll even help you get it done. If no mic, just turn on and use text chat. Even if it takes longer to type a message if on console, it can help you beat the mission. If social anxiety, use playing with another person as a way to break that down. Best cure for social anxiety is to just be social

It’s a great mission but watch a couple videos first to help not only you but make it a little easier for whoever is taking you through it. Also look up Jonty28 and DM him for help. He’s super patient and will help you through it. Just listen to whatever he suggests. Good luck and keep us updated when you get it!

Why are so many people hell bent on not running this mission with another person? If it’s because you’re an introvert then my recommendation is looking for an active clan that fits you, and step out of your comfort zone when they ask for help. If I hadn’t done this 10 years ago I would’ve quit 9 years ago, and wouldn’t have the friends I have today. I still do all that I can solo, but can also do anything else in the game.

2 RepliesI know how you feel. I was intimidated by this mission. I got my level up and studied the callouts and most importantly use the lfg on discord. You don't even need a mic they have voice chat rooms. And make sure you post it's your first run and need help. Xihidden responded to mine and carried me through.

I did it without a mic, didn't even know the "official" callouts, just described by text the ones my team mate needed to shoot. The clock.. we wrote on the chat the various "groupings" in order and then figured out the order wich "gouping" was paired with my team mate at a given time. Surviveability not an issue to be fair if you are leveled up. Did it first run, never run it again. If you have a way to comunicate even if only by text you can do it
