For those who don't know what I'm talking about, back in Destiny 1, exotic class items used to have a special perk called, The Life Exotic. It allowed us to equip one other exotic armor piece alongside the exotic class items. I know most people will say it would only power creep the game if Bungie did that in D2, but I would also like to remind everyone what a certain skeleton once said, back when Prismatic was first announced. [spoiler]"We're in the -blam!- end game! -blam!- the power creep!"[/spoiler] So yeah, if Bungie did this, (and I do of course mean if the Bungie leadership allowed the devs to do this) then it would only make the exotic class items even more valuable than they currently are, (which would also help Bungie stop their ship from sinking for at least a few more months) and would allow the build crafters out there nearly unlimited options for how to spec themselves out. [spoiler]It would also be nice if we could equip the exotic class items on all subclasses, rather than just Prismatic. But one thing at a time.[/spoiler] And let's be honest, who cares how much more broken Hunters would be in the Crucible if this did happen? Let the Pvp players suffer so us Pve players can have some real fun for once, while this game still has a somewhat decent player base to speak about. And one last thing about the exotic class items Bungie. If you're not gonna give them "The Life Exotic" perk like the good old days, (where mantling didn't even exist) then would you at least give them ornaments of the D1 exotic class items? If I could make that ugly Titan diaper look like my New Monarchy faction Mark from D1, I would at least have a fashionable reason to jump into Dual Destiny for once.
