Impossible to get a certain perk set on gun???
Attempting to get a particular roll of a weapon - literally just two perks, I don’t care about anything else, but in the 30+ hours of farming time and the hundreds of this weapon dropped, I’ve gotten 10+ of the exact same roll, I’ve gotten the perks on different guns, but I cannot get them together. Has anyone else experienced this? Yes they are in different slots.

3 RepliesIt's always been like this in the game. Yes, I myself hate that we can't just customize every single weapon in the game and I still wish it was like that. All this does is prove just how stupid Bungie really are for weapons, period.

2 RepliesIt‘s possible that there isn’t the roll you‘re looking for on the weapon you want. Maybe there was but sometimes the weapon perk pool gets updated and they phase out some perks to make room for others - or remove them completely due to balance issues. In case you didn’t know there are websites that can help you find out what you are looking for. I personally use https://www.light.gg but there maybe others aswell. Hope it helps and you get the roll you want.

Perk weighting exists behind the scenes. So gotta keep grinding until the system lets you have it.

6 RepliesIve been having this with Aurvandil fusion. It can be focused at the gunsmith when omolon roles around. Think I’ve rolled at least 70+ there next to random drops… I’m only interested in one combo Reconstruction/chill clip. I’m convinced bungie intentionally programmed it to not allow it role together… 😡

Just posted on another thread about my trash Elsie’s rolls. Can’t get anything even decent. Annoying since I have absolute banging Blast Furnace rolls for every possible use.

It is almost as if the rng is weighted against you getting that perk combo so that your play time is increased in a boring old copy and paste event. Eventually you will get that perk combo. I got 2 recon baitandswitch but I also want impact casing and that I cannot get. All the crappy "rng" that is def modified/weighted just makes me hate the event more

Attunment for perks Should be a thing,i'd spend alloys,shards or whatever to do it

6 Repliesreconstruction bait and switch, i can't get it on the event strand rocket. also the neonuma machine gun, i can't get envious assassin and target lock. now in trials i can barely get engrams anymore so goodbye to weapon focusing for what rolls i would want. crucible, vanguard, gambit weapon focusing is too expensive and we are not guaranteed to get three rows of perks after the third vender reset.

2 RepliesI have been trying to get Reconstruction & Chill Clip on the stasis Omolon fusion rifle from Banshee ever since weaponsmith engram focusing became a thing. I keep getting either Reconstruction/Demolitionist or Subsistence/Chill Clip.

5 RepliesWhat weapon? I’m currently experiencing this with the strand rocket. Both perks exist as I have obtained rockets that have one or the other (different slots), but not both. Just gotta keep on keeping on.
