When the Macros are now a bannable offense.
When someone changes the date of their console or runs a script blocking matchmaking.
Would this be a bannable offense?
Mainly I believe solo launch of any PVE activity should always be available.
Things like patrols, strike playlists, etc.
In regards it can be used to make completing bounties easier due to not fighting to get the kills you need. Due to others just being demolishers of trash content for their skill levels.
Along with things like Bonfire Bash ran solo to prove it can be done.

EDIT: With in my own regards. The solo script isn't really a script. Its the matter of blocking specific ports of Firewall traffic to and from bungie.
I however will argue if people got banned for this. Many people that have antivirus and IP/ISP issues like myself would get banned wrongfully.
For example in my case every so often I must change my IP address because my Traffic to and from matchmaking gets blocked by some outside source other than my ISP.
I have seen in the past someone had been blocking specifically Bungie.net in my regards. However I have no idea if this hacker is someone I have met from my past or someone from within destiny, discord etc. Its been an ongoing issue for me for approximately 8 years. Considering as I write this I noticed I wasn't matchmade and fixing the issue is releasing and renewing my ip address.
This situation of why I ask for a black and white answer. Is beyond reasoning.
It just comes down to understanding with a pc not everyone can monitor what the outside world does to them. Let alone control a firewall from accidentally blocking these things....

Specifics This is the Official Plugin for DIM for any Elgato Stream Deck.
Considering DIM is basically a goto for everyone. Granted a Stream Deck is not. This feature is listed as apart of the features.
That is the specifics of what it does and References needed.

24 Repliesthey have never been "okay" back when they used to answer these types of posts players were warned that the solo script could easily be seen as network manipulation and thus could result in a ban. As we have seen recently, just because they havent in the past does not green light their usage. As with all things ban related, the real question is...are you willing to risk your account to complete those bounties? Your "beliefs" have 0 to do with Bungie and policy enforcement. You could make a post in feedback along with the thousands of others over the years asking for solo options but Bungie seems to have made their choice for solo or match made play regardless of player feedback
