I'm just wanting to clarify a reason as to why when I try to change my name back to my original gamer tag in the identity settings it won't save for whatever reason, as in I click on the save button but when I go somewhere else on the site then back my tag is reverted back to the auto generated one I was given and I'm told I can only change my bungie name one time. For context my original gamer tag that I've had and used (until Aug 12) since D1, I believe my name was caught up in the name change issue as my original tag was balasticsnake42 (Which is my PSN account name, as i formerly played on console before moving to pc for D2 from the witch queen onward) and I even see it as a recommended option alongside my steam account name, however as mentioned above every time I change it from guardian1367 the change is simply reverted. I understand that resolutions take time, however I just want to clarify that this issue is because the tokens have yet to be distributed as I can't see how balasticsnake42 is in violation to the code of conduct regarding bungie names, I can't make use of my steam accounts name for destiny as it could run into issues as while I chose the name based of the fictional character Ticci Toby I am aware that Toby can be a given name (Though its not mine) which therefore can clash with the code of conduct and honestly I would just like to have my original gamer tag. All I would like at the moment is clarification on whether or not the issue I'm currently facing is due to not having a name change token or something else and if it is something else why. Making an edit add on here: Should I simply just make a new tag for may character or is there still a chance in the near future that I will be able to get my original gamer tag back. As I'm getting kind of fed up in constantly seeing my name as Guardian1367.
