Well, as we seem to have replaced
The Witness and his pyramids ships
with
Pete Parson and his cars
We all worry for the future of this game...
I for one would actually be fairly happy to see the old planets being made available again.
It could even be episodes, with a small story about freeing them from whatever forgotten
character in the lore and getting the old strikes back as an additional reward.
Cheers

5 RepliesRemoving the planets in the first place always felt like a low effort solution to a technical problem Bungie weren't skilled enough to address. Their excuse that 'people aren't playing in those locations' was just weak, as they could all have been used for seasonal activities or story progression (which they all now actually have since the launch of Witch Queen). But they won't do it, because if there's one thing lazier than using old content, it's doing nothing whatsoever...

this is all just one big cautionary tale about what happens when you don’t add enough vault space

Edited by Yosemite Sam: 8/22/2024 12:31:03 PMThere was a lot of content removed from the game, and way too many excuses from this developer on why they removed all the content they did. The scary thing is all of the minions defended them as if this developer didn't have any other options other than removing all that content. That is 100% BS. So now when people buy the expansions, or this developer "brings back older content" it's brought back half-backed or it's just a tiny piece of an entire expansion and the minions say things like "Look! Bungie brought Mars back". 🤦♂️ It's just like the lie about why they removed Factions. For 4 years the community asked when will Factions return and for a good couple of years this developer literally ignored the community, not a word about them until Luke Smith gave an answer that didn't line up with what took place on why they removed them. The truth is most likely that they couldn't make a profit off the 9 sets of gear they would design for them once in a while and some new weapons that were added to their inventory. So bringing back older planets won't help the game, it will only show how the planets are a wasteland that will be as dead as every other older planet they has never been updated.

Sounds more like an end of life update or part of one. The show must go on tho. No age of triumph style in sight. Tho Calus bot could go anywhere. It’s linked with Nessus
