All the planet vendors need to be at the tower in hologram form Yes or No
I mean it all planet vendors need to be moved to the tower in hologram form so we can grab all the bounties and other rewards and move. Edit I don't care if there is an app on a phone it should've been done from the get-go. Adding vendors to each destination I think has dumb down the destiny experience over time, D1 did it right by having no vendors, and plus there is plenty of unused space at the tower or have our ship as the vendor when it lands.

1 ReplyDid you make this post using the companion app? Where you can also grab bounties from different vendors, even from other planets? It's a bit wonky, I'll have to admit. If I pick up a bounty and it doesn't go through, I'm forced to go to the destination where the bounty is from to get it. Overall, I think everything should be in one place for my lazy ahh and for convenience sake. But I'm okay without it.

1 ReplyDid you know you can obtain the bounties through the use the Destiny companion app (Director>select bounties) and pull all the vendor bounties from there while offline or while you are in orbit. Then when you go to each destination you’re all set to complete each bounty.

so you want planet bounties to be picked up at the tower so you can go to the planet anyways? how does that change anything at all other than adding another pointless loading screen?

This would destroy 50% of content instantly. Travelling from helm to Nessus to tower to helm to Nessus to helm to Nessus to tower can’t be over just like they.

No. You literally have to be on the planet the vendor is on to do the bounties. If I want to do Throne World bounties, I go see Fynch then do the bounties. How is it better that I would have to go to the Tower or the HELM first ?

Definitely like the idea but then it would hurt the wonderful story telling that Bungie has crafted where you " fly to the h.e.l.m listen to said person, then go the a planet listen to the radio,then head to the tower and listen to someone else, then wait till next week to get more information!!" 😁👍

Honestly, Bungie should take the idea with the app and allow you to grab bounties in-game while in orbit or any activity, similar to how the Solstice event forge works with the same re-rolling mechanic in exchange for glimmer. That way glimmer stays relevant and the players don't waste time hopping from planet to planet in-game. It would also be nice to turn bounties in mid-crucible, mid-raid or mid-strike and be able to pick up new ones while in progress (I don't think the app works during activities, but someone please confirm). The app is sometimes slow or non-responsive if you're in a location where bounties cannot be grabbed with the app, and then what if it's a kid playing who doesn't use a phone (I know it's unlikely, but just humor the idea) they deserve a quick access way too. Bounties should have a chance to drop high stat armor as noted on my other forum post about assigning tiers to legendary armor to motivate and reward players for activity completion.

I just want everything at the HELM. They could open the two or three doors at the main area [b][i](Both doors that are next to the areas that are usually used for the "Seasonal" Activities and the door that's inbetween the Vault/Postmaster)[/i][/b]. One of these areas could be a gun range, a [b][u][i]better[/i][/u][/b] gun range similar to what we had with the Leviathan area with different enemy types etc. Another area could be for a Weapon Crafting facility. The next could be Holograms of Vendors from the Tower: Banshee, Shaxx, Zavala, Rahool, Saint, Drifter, Bird Lady and Bald Woman. I would say Regional/Planetary Vendors but we need to actually venture out at some point. The Tower could be used when necessary or dolled up to be an actual Social Zone where you can actually go for LFG's in game, Fireteam leaders can actually check out your gear and see your credentials from the Tower. And events get left at the Tower since most events are socially motivated.

There's so many missed opportunities in this game all steming from unwillingness due to server stability because bungie refuses to upgrade increase server capacity. Imagine an Eliksni or Awoken vendors, how about a representative or vendor for spider? Why doesn't Bungie bring Efridiet back to the game? Just don't get me started on Neomuna.. a news station for a digital population within a single entity "the veil"..? But this game is ultimately coming to an immediate end as Bungie tries to transition to other games like COD, Fortnite, Warframe, and mobile games..

1 ReplyI would go one farther and get rid of the tower, get rid of the enclave, get rid of every vendor on every planet and make everything accessible from your ship and the helm. I mean let's be real the "social" aspect of this game is a term lightly used and with bounties gone, access to you vault from your ship the tower is pretty much dead space anyway. Oh and while we are at it just completely delete hawthorn from the game she has been irrelevant as a character for years send her the way of tess and sweeper bot

IMO instead of wasting all that time and money they have since 2014 just to use them as bounty placeholders, they should have actually taken our money and made the vendors in this game useful. Take the gunsmith for an example. He should have been the vendor for crafting and many other things, meaning using him for what he was created for. Yet, like every vendor in this game he is just a bounty placeholder. TBH they are there just to waste a gamer's time, nothing more nothing less.
