Destabilizing Rounds needs to be buffed, not for damage, but for activation. Why does it have a cooldown, when incandescent, headstone, voltshot, and hatchling doesn't.....even if you guys need to lower the damage radius, please get rid of the timed delay btwn activations, it's not fun to use like that.

They're putting cooldowns on everything. Elemental, orbs, fragments, class mods. They've nerfed the core of this game. Destiny is what Bungie has created and they have no one to blame but themselves.
-
I feel like the proc delay is in direct relation to how Destabilizing Rounds interacts with Repulser Brace . It would be constant, infinite overshield on kill. They would never let that happen, though my Orpheus Hunter build would become that much better.
-
It needs a rework. By far the worst when compared to other subclasses like voltshot, ignition etc. Just as bad as the issue you mentioned is that volatile steals the activation of a lot of kill perk activations such as onslaught etc. That needs sorting as a priority too.
-
What they do need to do is to fix repulsor brace synergy with volatile kills altogether. Just make it that if you get a volatile kill whether directly with the weapon or because you proc volatile with that weapons, repulsor brace activates regardless

Willing to bet that they can’t after the game-wide volatile application timer they added after witch queen. Instead… what if they upped the radius by a fairly large amount?

1 ReplyThe game has way to many unique weapon perks, it's absurd trying to keep them all in balance.

1 ReplyEdited by NerfPaladins06: 8/19/2024 11:10:09 AMIt used to not have no cooldown but 1. It probably looked absurd to them after seeing people use it on Retrofit Escapade and figured "This is probably op. Probably... Idk, too lazy to check the damage numbers. Let's just put a cd on Destabilizing Rounds". 2. The above combo was also launching bosses off the map like dolphins returning to their home planet.

5 RepliesHeadstone actually does have a cooldown, both it and destabilization rounds need their cooldowns removed

I have a void glaive build with destabilising rounds and repulsive brace on the glaive, and I use the Triton Vice exotic. You can literally blow up an entire room of adds with one powered glaive shot. Even the tougher stuff. My son who usually mocks my lack of DPS capability was stunned into silence. First time I actually managed to impress him. He didn’t admit it, but he was impressed. It’s a fairly niche build, not recommending for higher content, but it’s a great laugh in things like onslaught.
-
You know they’ll give everything else a cool down now, right?
-
Yeah they’re not where they should be.. They could absolutely use a buff.
-
Watch, now there will be an incoming cooldown on these. Mark my words.
-
I wouldn't mind the cooldown as much if the radius was actually large. It needs to be as large as--or larger than--Incandescent.
-
100% They are very very weak compared to the others.

6 RepliesI think it was an intended nerf to Void Titan and the Controlled Demo Aspect.

We need to buff its viability. Agree.
