Hello, is there a way to unlink a steam account to link a different one?
Long story short I linked my steam to my Destiny account before I had my PC. It was inactive for a few years, so they completely erased it. Now I have my PC, I would like to play on steam, so is there a way to unlink my old non-existent steam for my new working one?

3 RepliesHey there, inactive Steam accounts are never erased/purged, not within the last 15 years anyhow since the last major redesign. So you should be able to contact Steam support to try to recover. The only way for a Steam account to be deleted is to request it. Bungie will not forcibly unlink accounts nor cancel cross-save, so without being able to authenticate that linked Steam account, it will be stuck as is. That is the only way.

2 RepliesAs you have cross-save active, you need Steam to recover the account If they can't recover it, then you cannot deactivate cross-save to unlink it. Bungie will not forcibly unlink it or deactivate cross-save.
