Recombination not reaching 10 stacks

Does anyone else have the issue where recombination stops stacking at x8? Ever since i enhanced my mountaintop its been happening, yet i havent seen anyone talk about it.

It's intentional. Enhanced recomb reaches max stack damage 2 stacks quicker so gets capped at x8
