Name change!!!!!
Can someone PLEASE tell me why my name has just been changed. I’ve had it since d1 days and never had any issues. PLUS it used my name change token??? HOW IS THAT FAIR!!!!!!

So is there seriously no other word on this other then, we applied a patch to prevent, yeah right, this from happening again in the future and [quote]We are continuing to investigate options to address player accounts that were impacted. Not even a mention in the TWIT, err TWAB, err whatever the heck it is now a days. I know this does not effect my playing the game but the attitude from BUNGO on this mixed with issues dang near every week some lasting months to years with no word, now work, nor apology!!!! It's been 10 years of ever decreasing care about the average player and I'm just so simply PO by the compounding of all this. A simple word of recognition, that they screwed up and a tentative time to when things will be fixed, and I'm not just talking about the name change issue, but all issues would go vastly farther then they obviously are capable of comprehending. Outside of BUNGO there would surely be a lot more people let go with attitudes and treatments like this to their customer base, I've seen this happen many many MANY times over the past, well way to many, decades of working in high tech industries.

My name has been Changed too, From DakTannon to Gaurdian(randome #) I have used this name for OVER 20 years in all my games with NO PROBLEMS EVER and have used it on Destiny 2 SINCE LAUNCH and the stupid player setting won't let me change it. WAHT IS GOING ON and can I PLEASE have my name back

You know this company is completely broken when even their software for moderation that has nothing to do with the game is also broken.🤣🤣🤣 I mean, their talentless staff are probably not doing anything except cleaning cars at headquarters. 🤣🤣🤣 This company is toast! This happened to me before the last name change. I had been using my PSN name since D1 and suddenly my name was changed to Guardian#### with no notification or explanation. I still have the same PSN name as always. It's not derogatory and Sony obviously has no problem with it.

Has Bungie given ANYTHING about when this'll be fixed? I haven't logged in at all this reset out of fear of having my name changed. I know they were supposed to say something today about the matter, but I haven't seen anything yet.

Same here. My original name was in no way provocative or offensive so it's difficult to see what Bungees name moderating script could have caught. Once again, someone at bungee screwed up and we pay the price, again.

[/b][/i] I went in to play for an hour saw the stupid announcement which was total BS, was so pissed I did not run what I wanted to instead just ran a strike, which was no strike but a battleground finished turned off the game and may never turn it back on again. I only bought FS for the final campaign and everything but the campaign and Excision has been, hmmmm no kind words available. Now this crap. BUNGO convince me there's one decent reason not to stop playing after playing for 10 years. I DARE YOU!
