The way I see it buying edge of fate is a waste of my time if I can't even play with the build that I'm happy with .at this point prismatic is dead and this game is officially dead
-
Okay, so what I been hearing is this, arc soul doesn’t generate grenade energy on hit, but I think it still generates grenade energy by kill meaning your new fastest way to get any ability energy back is a mixture of ionic traces and devour meaning you get pretty much faster grenade uptime with thanks to ironic traces helping all your abilities including melee and rifts which devour can’t help with melees

Edited by The Hermit IX: 8/10/2024 2:46:47 PMI use Getaway build all the time. The nerf is completely unnoticeable. I have multiple turrets down at all times. Try it and you’ll see that this post was a waste of your time. I suggest the same to people commenting like it’s a ruined build too. It’s not and is still one of the best prismatic builds on any class.

3 Repliesas a warlock main who uses this build daily….the nerf sounded way worse on paper and i literally haven’t noticed a difference? have you even tried playing it before righting a whole essay on how you like first descendant more? go play that then instead lmao

So getaways is still very viable. However. Something I've always resented about bungies nerfs is far down the road they come. Most games see a problem and bring it in line before it becomes a staple. I get that its nice for streamers to be able to post new "best build after patch" videos. That being said, getaways nerf. For once they didn't go overboard. Still pretty strong

Edited by LikwiD_SmOkE22: 8/10/2024 6:00:00 PMThe nerf sounded worse on paper. The uptime on getting your arc soul back with devour active is still incredibly fast. It's still s tier with prismatic.

Well said, they just don't seem to understand that people want to play a fun game.... And they wonder why they are losing money and revenue

2 RepliesFrom what I’m gathering in this post, this moron is complaining about arc soul not granting grenade energy on hit. A) That is a bug. You get grenade energy on kills with devour, not on hit. Fixing bugs is not a nerf. B) The build is exactly the same and just as potent. Bungie wanted a four turret build for warlocks, you guys didn’t “discover” sh*t. They wanted this to happen, and you just are playing how they want you to. There is no nerf coming anytime soon.

Prismatic Hunter has been a problem for awhile now. The nerfs did minimal. Anytime Warlock’s get a half decent copy/paste build it’s nerfed to the ground. I’ve just made up my own solo sweaty secret spammy super sweaty meta warlock builds instead. 🤷♂️

2 RepliesI went from having 4 turrets on the field to 2.5… it’s is destroyed beyond recognition. Garbage game.
-
5 RepliesWhen people say it looks worse on paper that is 100% BS because history shows the actual fact that this developer doesn't know how to balance the game. It has always been to the extreme of one way or the other. This developer does not have a PvP team. The fact is that they fired them along with the security team. So stop the BS knowing the people running this game and the ones designing the content for the game don't play the game. Seriously, they literally don't even know how to balance just the difficulty in a video game.

It’s perfectly fine. Crazy it gave grenade energy in the first place.
-
1 ReplyLiterally NOTHING happened to it. I wish people actually understood the game before posting stuff like this
-
14 RepliesHave you used them after the "nerf"?
-
1 ReplyI agree they need to stop messing with my build!!! It's already underpowered compared to titan and hunter builds I've seen!!! Why do they do this it wasn't even broken and was working as intended? I'm sorry just really sick of them picking on my lock. No pun ...
-
They are TOO smart to do that.

That is why I am indifferent when necessary personnel changes are made. Eventually only the people that need to be there will be there. Admittedly, this nerf is not as bad as previous nerf to other items but, it aligns with a pattern of thinking that is to remove anything deemed fun. I loved Destiny 2 during Witch Queen, this...

There's no intention of gaining new players.
