Solstice feedback and Sublime Armor Forced Glow
I like the event this year. It's the best iteration of solstice afaik so far. The model is good and player friendly to me. To everyone complaining (about the model, not bugs), it's a 3 week event. Don't gotta do everything on day 1. The next thing to do might just be to add extra maps to offer a refreshing experience
The armor is absolutely beautiful (except the leg piece maybe, I play hunter almost exclusively).
That said, I transmogged it the second I got it and... after doing the incandescent thingy, all pieces have a forced glow.
I'd really like to have an option to turn off the glow. I don't want to spend more synthweave either for a version of non-glow armor.
Please help. The non-glow versions go really well with my fashion sense and it's a tragedy that I can't turn the glows off.

3 RepliesOK so I grinded all week to earn just 1 single hemet. Does armor provide any increased stats at all? It takes an hour or more to do one 15-point bounty. This armor looks like crap, the roll sucks, and I don't understand what the 'award' is.

1 ReplySame thing happens every year. They will fix the transmog so you can use without glow eventually.

They literally made a change to the armor 2 years ago that made the non glow and white glow armor separate transmog (idk if they did it last year) I don't understand why they aren't separate this year it's ridiculous

I'm confused because last solstace they seperated the candestant armour sets from it's glow variant. Why didn't they do the same this year, I thought we wouldn't get this issue again. bummer I like most of the armour without the glows.

1 ReplyThey usually have a non glow version. If I'm not mistaken, it usually comes out later, some time after the event.

While having a glow is nice and all, i liked the visuals of the armor more without the glow blowing out my retinas. Its weird that there is not a non glow version of the armor available for transmog.

2 RepliesI much prefer the older style event where there was actual bosses and we used the whole map. This version is very dumbed down and kinda boring. Especially given the fact that everything just dies in seconds and you're left waiting for the game to catch up and spawn more enemies. But it's "free" so whatever.
