Dear Bungie,
I want an option to turn that off please.
I dont know who decided to implement this but its really not clever.
It is highly frustrating when i have a HUD containing 8 buffs, 3 debuffs, teammates, markers, health bar, abilities, ammo count, etc, etc.
I dont want to see a log telling me who got online on my bungiefriendslist. Its just not helpful at all....

Edited by papaRIW: 8/9/2024 2:39:38 PMIf you are on PS 5 you can turn notifications for friends going online off. Go to Settings, Notifications, choose Always hide, When Friends Go Online. No more annoying pop-ups while you are getting one shot by an Ads crossbow. Just to add, I also have Bungie chat set to off.

I am on PC and I get it in my chat when friends/clanmates log on... Its distracting, should be an option not default.

Yeh I turned of text chat and it still happens

I get this on the XBOX and it is annoying. Other people I game with are also annoyed with this change. It should be a toggle switch. Turning it on with no ability to turn it off other than disabling text chat seems a little short sighted. I hope they put in a change soon.

5 RepliesI don’t get any notifications like that. Is it a PC thing.
-
3 RepliesNo, because it is important that you see me come online faab.

Probably laid off the guy that made that notification so it doesn't get fixed.

This is their fix to toxic messages
