8.0.5 Bug: Sunlit armor tooltip popup will not go away
I have Sunlit armor from somewhere, that does not have a kindling socket.
I receive a tooltip that I need to put kindling into the kindling socket. This will not go away.

5 RepliesFound the solution in another thread. Speak to Eva Levante, open the Solstice Forge and refresh the armor bounty that triggered the popup ( I used Helmet). Dismiss the Solstice Forge then dismiss Eva and the banner goes away

2 RepliesI am experiencing this same issue. I also claimed one of the armor bounties and was not given the wrapped armor gift that the bounty card says is a completion reward.

Yeah, everyone is getting this, why bother have it come up when you don't even have any relevant armour to progress with the tooltip.

1 ReplyI'm having the same problem. It's the same as last year when it happened with your second character. It was solved by waiting for the end of the event because Bungie didn't fix anything. I think I'll be out of the game for another 3 weeks...

Same, my game is acting like I got armor when I didn't since the packages are bugged rn too. The game event is currently unplayable rn because of these two issues.

Also having the same issue. Haven't unlocked any Sunlit armor to apply kindling to yet but still getting the tooltip. Also, the bounties are not providing the correct amount of alloy and not rewarding solstice packages.

3 RepliesSolution: go to orbit, turn off the HUD. then load into an activity, and turn the HUD on again.

Same issue, completed the bonfire bash twice, went to talk to Eva and the tooltip came up and will not go away and blocks the bottom part of the screen. I don't have any of the armor yet since it isn't possible with the amount of alloy and the packages are not dropping for the bounties. Screenshot: [url]https://ibb.co/Y3Sc8Kp[/url]

Possible DIY solution: turn off HUD, enter the activity, and turn the HUD back on when you land in the EAZ. So far so good.

It seems to go away after you complete another bonfire activity, or complete the next step of refreshing the bounty (I put up with the pop up and did these and the tooltip seems to go away for me, don't know which one did the trick tho)
