Used to be my go too. When they “buffed” it (larger explosion radius and elemental effects) they also stealth nerfed it by reducing the AOE damage it does from 210 to 100. No mention of it in the patch notes, if it was a bug it has never been acknowledged. They double stealth nerfed it when the messed with amount of health players have, they upped total health from 220 to 250, and while most weapon damage was tweaked to maintain ttk, chromatic still does 100 damage. They triple stealth nerfed it when they put stasis and strand weapons in the kinetic slot. It was way better before, in PvP at least.

Was one of my favorites in forsaken era . Instant detonation and sizeable explosion. It is trash now though.

agree > its a perfect time for a rework because its that main kinetic build exotic.. .. there was a good topic on this where some people were suggesting interesting interactions ...I think with some buffs and some cool interaction with kinetic tremors it could be a lot of fun (but then do we need kinetic heavies to balance it out.. if not it has to provide some pretty interesting interaction I'm thinking..)

For an exotic that only applies firefly, it’d be nice if it worked on things other than kinetics. Imagine dragonfly incan tyranny that could proc chromatic fire

You're tripping, shawty. Throw that bad boy on with outbreak or Ace & a void super. It's pretty funny to use it with Sturm & Drang when an activity has OL & unstoppable champs this season too.
