4 RepliesSo, here's an actual tip on getting more Glimmer since a lot of the people here are just saying it's easy to acquire: Add a Glimmer Boost mod onto your Ghost in-game, and you should be getting at least a good portion more than originally :)

You don't have to farm for glimmer. We get glimmer from everything we do in game, just play.

11 RepliesNo idea where this comes from - I'm literally stuck on 500K glimmer almost permanently. Every week I end up using the most expensive prism and golf ball conversion method just to try and clear a little overhead but it's normally right back up there after one activity

1 ReplyI'm the exact opposite. I have to go to the Moon to buy those things at the kiosk in order to lower my Glimmer because I'm constantly bumping the limit. I do lost sectors where I can ride my sparrow in and back out for a quick turnover. I never pass up a chest when patrolling. Public events need to be done. Run a Vanguard boost on your ghost when doing Strikes. It's a grind - and so fun!

You're not the only one. I don't know what rewards glimmer (outside of doing lame -blam!- public events), but it definitely ain't GM Nightfalls, Onslaught, or Raids. The 1k a pop from dismantling legendaries isn't nearly enough for the amount of focusing/masterworking/shaping and re-shaping that I do on a daily basis and the people always capped off @ 500k probably don't min-max their gear. Quad 100's ain't cheap, especially doing it with multiple different exotic pieces and builds.
