The Final Shape is the end to the story overall
Not just the Light and Darkness saga apparently. No more expansions or major narrative episodes/seasons after episode 3. Just nothing but new activities with some commentary thrown in. It truly makes me sad that Bungie is going in the direction. I love the lore of the game so hearing that they won't be adding anything new from a narrative standpoint. Oh well. Guess I'll move to another game after episode 3.

Honestly since I beat the witness I've had that my jobs done feeling I get from beating a single player game for the first time.

There can be more narrative. And much of it can be lore based. Remember how important lore seemed during the first half of the game? It was like there was almost less of it in the narrative but more of it as far as its impact on the community. People were doing fan fiction. Fan fiction used to be a big part of the forums. Now that you are being denied, maybe you'll get back to doing fan fiction. Make up lore instead of mental health and identity issues and put that into the game it will be good for you.
