I'm no expert at this game but when I co-op with others they seem to he able to kill a load of enemies and get through things pretty quick and easier than I can. I take it,it has something to do with the build they use can anyone guild me to any site that say which is tje best build for characters and sub classes. I know it probably all down to personal preference

1 ReplyI'm not sure what content you have access to, (expansions, dungeons, seasons, etc.), so some of it might not be available. But here are some suggestions for ad clear builds which don't require money: Some decent exotic weapons to use are Riskrunner, Sunshot, Gravaton Lance, Trinity Ghoul, Ager's Scepter, Trespasser, and probably a bunch of others I am forgetting. Legendary weapons with perks like Onslaught, Voltshot, Headstone, and Hatchling are good too. (If you search "D2 Foundry" online, it's a website that gives you a ton of information about what perks do, and which weapons can have specific perk combinations you are looking for). Focusing on weapons, you can generate orbs of power with "Siphon" mods on your helmet with multi kills of that element. Then, you can have weapon surge mods on your leg armor to buff your weapon damage for that element. Abilities: Arc Titan with aspects Knockout and Touch of Thunder, Pulse Grenade, Thruster class ability, and the Spark of Shock fragment paired with the exotic chest armor Heart of Inmost Light has very consistent ability spam capabilities if you can use Knockout to make your punches buff your grenade recharge rate and damage substantially. On the gauntlets, Heavy Handed generates orbs of power on powered melee kills, (punches buffed by Knockout count too), and Impact Induction reduces grenade cool down on melee hits; the leg armor has mods like Absolution to decrease all ability cool downs, and Innervation for a larger chunk of grenade energy alone; and the class item can use mods like Distribution or Bomber to decrease all ability cool downs slightly or grenade energy moderately when you use your class ability near enemies. Void Titan with aspects Offensive Bulwark and Bastion, Shield Toss melee, and Sentinel Shield super is good with exotic gauntlets Doom Fang Pauldrons. Using Echos of Starvation, Persistence, Instability, and Reprisal and a Void weapon with the Pugilist weapon perk, you can get very high super ability up time by prioritizing your Shield Toss to get kills while surrounded. On the helmet, Hands On generates extra super energy on melee kills and Void Siphon to help generate orbs with your void weapon. Heavy Handed is good because while you have a Void Overshield, similar to Knockout, your punches become powered melees which can activate Heavy Handed. Absolution and Distribution are fine, but Invigoration on leg armor and Outreach on class item generate melee energy which is better for this build. Arc Warlock with Ball Lightning melee, Stormtrance super, aspects Electrostatic Mind and Arc Soul, and the Spark of Shock fragment create a similarly ability spam build with the exotic helmet Crown of Tempests. Arc ability kills or any kill against a jolted target gives you a stacking ability regen buff, making your ability and super up time very high if you keep getting kills, (Stormtrance also lasts longer). An Arc weapon with the perk Voltshot pairs nicely with this in case you run out of abilities. Generate orbs of power using Arc Siphon on helmet and Firepower on arms for when you get grenade kills. Distribution and Absolution are ideal for keeping your abilities up. Void Warlock has many good options, taking advantage of the Devour (maybe called Insatiable Hunger?) aspect. Fragments of Instability, Remnants, and Undermining work well with the aspect Chaos Accelerant, Vortex grenade, a Void weapon with the Demolitionist perk, and exotic helmet Nezarec's Sin. This has very high grenade usage and up time because Devour and Demolitionist together fully recharge your grenade in 3-4 kills. Firepower, Void Siphon, Void Weapon Surge, and, on the helmet, Ashes to Assets for extra super energy on grenade kills. Solar Warlock with aspects Touch of Flame and Hellion, Incinerator Snap melee, Solar Grenade, (that's its actual name), fragments of Singeing, Ashes, Empyrean, and Mercy, and exotic gauntlets Sunbracers is a very classic build that holds up well. Melee ability kills provide infinite Solar Grenade energy for a few seconds, allowing you to throw 4 grenades in a row without losing your grenade energy. A solar weapon with the perk combination Pugilist and Incandescent optimize this build because Ember of Singeing grants melee energy when you kill scorched enemies in a minimum of 4 kills for a full recharge. Ashes to Assets, Solar Siphon, and Firepower to generate super energy and orbs of power. Invigoration, Outreach, and, on the arms, Momentum Transfer all help to reduce your melee ability cool down. Hunters, for their light-based subclasses, tend to rely more heavily on weapons for rapid ad clear than their abilities. The exotic legs Lucky Pants provide a brief stacking buff hand cannon damage which goes on a 10 second cool down until you can activate the perk again. This perk activates when you swap to a fully loaded hand cannon with a full magazine. Hand cannons which fire faster benefit much more from this buff since you can stack the buff faster. Once the buff expires, always remember to reload before swapping to another weapon. You can pair this with the matching weapon surge mods to your hand cannon element and a matching Siphon mod for even more damage. One final note is that armor has stats which affect your survivability and ability cool downs: Mobility is movement speed and Hunter Dodge cool down, Resilience is global Damage Resist and Titan Barricade (or Thruster) cool down, Recovery is health regeneration rate and Rift (or Phoenix Dive) cool down, Discipline is grenade ability cool down, Intellect is super ability cool down, and Strength is melee ability cool down. Destiny Item Manager (DIM) is great for picking out armor to maximize your stats such that you have the tiers, (increments of 10 divide each tier, so 80 and 89 have the same effect on your character, but 90 is the next tier with a better effect). I know this is a ton of information, but build crafting in this game is quite deep and intricate. Hopefully some of these basic builds give you a place to start, though!
