Episode/act quests on alt characters to unlock activities - please unlock for all characters once one character unlocks them
Can we please stop with this? If one character runs through the questline, please allow it to apply to all characters.
Having to do all these fetch quests over and over just to open up the new battlegrounds on alts is really obnoxious and tedious.
side note: why nerf exotic class item drop rates form regular chests... it was already an abysmal drop rate from them. could have left them the same...and no I have never macro'd those chests, although at this point, maybe i should start.....

Yea, I’d play the missions with my alts sometimes if this were the case. Sadly it is not. Pretty annoying and needlessly restricting.

They did this to extend playtime. It's both sad and tedious. They've drawn the fun outta this game and turned it into a chore. It's pathetic how they made sure that TFS keeps you logged in as long as possible. Longer dialogue and cut scenes, BS quest that require running through the same OLD strikes, "pathfinder".....

Prizmatic wasn't so bad, but that stupid strand on each character was almost as bad as the stasis grind. What was also bad is not even letting you play the class until you finish the campaign. Worst decision ever! I guess that is what I get for taking a hiatus and not playing during lightfall year. Too much piled up. But still, I have so much to catch up on and so little time that I am pretty much just playing my warlock now and my poor titan main is pushed off to the side for the first in Destiny history. With the difficulty increase on top of everything it is just a slower grind in everything. Not to mention the last two evenings running breach expert and avalon exotix missions, both ended up being broken and didn't get pinnacles from either one. Bungie loves to waste players time.

The final shape is why it's the final grind for me. l would of liked to do more characters but it's to much repeat wasted time l don't have to give to this game. And everything feels like a chore and sweaty ,which isn't how a game should make you feel. this game is not good for mental health ,in fact it's the opposite. bungie really should step back and consider making some changes to ease down on the gas.

Been asking for this for a while on the forums and they still don't. Campaign I can sort of understand least as far as Final Shape is concerned since there is some minor dialogue changes specifically if you are a hunter I think. But seasonal stuff if the story is the exact same on all three classes just make it a one and done type deal. It's just extra tedium really.

4 RepliesBump! 🫡 Same goes for the campaign…clear it on one character and it should be an option to rerun on the other characters, if desired, otherwise everything should be unlocked for all three characters. 🤔 My H cleared the 12-man final mission. My W / T had zero desire to repeat the tedium of the last three missions, which means, they aren’t doing stuff in the Pale Heart zone…because they are locked out. No problemo! 🥱 I’ve just completed that week 1 Pathfinder Triumph…in the Pale Heart zone on my H…it wouldn’t have been done via the other Pathfinder option re Gambit / Crucible / Strike mix of objectives…because…there should have been a dedicated Pathfinder Quest for each of those individual game modes from the start. 🧐 What irks me about BHQs meddling is that they constantly strive to ‘fix’ stuff that ain’t broke. Anything to impede a Guardian’s progress, however inane, they just can’t stop. Anyone who plays the game understands this…🤬 And what has all their meddling achieved? SMH 🙄 Ease Springs! 🫡

That feels silly, there is NO WAY I’m doing all the side bits again just to play on hunter. I tried abandon the quest and pick it up on my alt but that did not work.

Like I've said before about this: Each character is a key to open up everything in game. If you want everything in game for a character, use the key. Yes, it is to get people to play the game, that's what every dev wants. The issue I'm seeing is nowadays people want everything in a game without playing the game. That's a different discussion though.
