Why can't there be a solo player way to obtain things like the exotic class items? Stop trying to force to people to play in fireteams if they can't or don't want to
-
I agree. Bungie only cares for the people who are hardcore players.
-
Evidence shows that Trying to force ppl into and restricting access to major gameplay and difficulty changes involving exotic class items doest help your Financial Saftey Margins .... At all. Ill consider returning " to the store " When i have better access to what ive already payed for
-
You have to do one mission for 30 mins max, and then you can farm solo as much as you want If you want to cry and not do that, then you don’t deserve it
-
For farming / getting an additional drop after unlocking the item via Dual Destiny: I absolutely agree with you. This isn't a static exotic and it's not craftable, so without bad-luck protection / dup protection activities should be raining these down like candy. I do still like that it's locked behind the mission, though. Running it once per character isn't too much to ask.

If you don’t want to play with people in a predominantly multiplayer game then accept the consequences, that’s your own choice.
-
Yes, because having everything handed to you on a silver platter whenever you want it makes sense Get over it and talk to somebody, and put some elbow grease into it

25 RepliesThe excuses for not letting gamers have the freedom to play how they want to play are ridiculous, on this forum, but this is expected because now "it's a multi-player game" has become the new go-to on this forum. It's a good thing not all developers limit options as this one does to try and push people to play their game how they want them to. This developer has stepped over the line when it comes to looking for ways to try to push people to run activities in this game solo or not. I don't know any other developer that does this, I'm not saying it doesn't happen but holy moly the control the developer "needs to have" over the gamer is unbelievable, and there isn't any excuse for their poor behavior the defenders can use that will change that fact. Anyone trying to use this a multi-player game as an excuse to down someone for asking for another option shows how disrespectful you people are. Quite a few of Destiny fans on this forum showing their true self. What's shocking is that a few of them turn around and expect people to support their suggestions as if there is nothing wrong. Wake up and stop being so damn rude towards one another, you are only proving this developer's point. You are not worth the time or day to read any feedback you give to them.

No force. Don't want to play with others then don't. But then you can't have everything they can.
-
14 RepliesGuess you want a solo version of raids too?
-
2 RepliesIt is always funny to see solo players being showered with self-righteous abuse from from a pack of -blam!- that can't even run a strike without two others to hold their hand and keep them safe.
-
They should just be given for free at the evidence board in the enclave and craftable to be whatever you want for 500 glimmer

7 RepliesEdited by TIME_4_A_WIN: 7/30/2024 6:31:50 PMDestiny is a multiplayer game always has been. There plenty of ways to build a fireteam join a clan, LFG, Discord groups etc.
-
Edited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 7/30/2024 1:50:37 PMI don’t have any issue running it with people, but I used to have terrible social anxiety and barely ever raided. So I get it and I agree that there should be a solo version of the mission or something. I don’t mind helping people that have this issue because I used to have it as well.

3 RepliesEhh I went this far without it. I don’t need it.

13 RepliesEdited by ukas: 7/27/2024 7:27:00 PMAnd remove the Crow Feathers from there while you're at it. Cheap move putting the last few in Dual Destiny.

2 RepliesJust play offline.

21 RepliesThere are even YouTube streamers who save that the mission should have been similar to missions like exclusion where it only takes one player with a team to clear the mission and then everybody else gets a easier version of the mission to battle the witness. Streamers say this because about 6 to 7 of the feathers are locked behind dual destiny which it's gonna make it harder for some people to get the title for final shape. This was based on a review video from easy now he reviewed dual destiny and he says what I just said but he also say that there should be an optional mission for solo players to get the feathers and if they don't want to play with other people have the option for them to get the exotic class item on their own that it doesn't have to be an easy mission if players can solo a dungeon or a raid they can solo dual destiny.
-
You only need two solo players to get the class item. Then you only need one solo player to get them from the Pale Heart.
-
Just use LFG it’s literally in game so why are you even complaining. Just carry someone through it and you do it all solo. Stop complaining when theres an alternative.
-
You mean handouts for players who just keep making excuses?
-
Plays a mmo light then cry’s because he has to play in a team my god. Plus do the mission one time and then u can solo all u want for more
-
16 RepliesThe game is a multi-player game they will never push a solo player agenda suck it up run the mission once then farm chests to your hearts content, or stop complaining.
-
Just gotta complete it once and then you can farm for rng. My problem with it is they should’ve thought about the exotic class item a couple expansions ago instead of the last expansion of the game. Why even bother now. I don’t need an exotic class item to complete nightfalls or collect a few trinkets to go talk to whatever annoying character they have you interact with and listen to their love story. It’s a good idea that was wasted by doing it when basically D2 is over

You can, right now!! So long as you first complete a coop mission (per character) then boom... solo mode unlocked!! Honestly though, this isn't the worst mission ever created!! So long as you are chill and you get lucky with lfg, then it can get done! If you don't succeed the first time, you have more experience for the next time!! The only fiddly bit is the first clock, and potentially shouting out symbols... but be as obvious as you can; you don't need to know the exact name (if you try with same person several times, you'll learn what each of you will call these things). The hardest bit is the very end, but that's only due to the enemy encounter... the clock is easier and the symbols will be more familiar!

11 RepliesLike I feel your pain but just make sure be careful what you say because this community sometimes can be very defensive just because you say something that needs to be said some people think it's gonna destroy their perfect universe... That's how it was with games like anthem outriders and sometimes division too they don't want to realize that there are issues they want to pretend that everything is perfect even if player numbers go down 40% even if the best streamers are saying that things need to be changed they are always going to be players like fam boys who just don't want to acknowledge flaws.

There's quite a few posts, in here and other threads, from people asking for a solo option. Even though I've done the mission with a friend who is autistic and I'm a 53-year old dyslexic, i do agree with you. That said, it's really not that hard, dont get me wrong, it's not a walk in the park, but it's we'll doable.. Maybe start a thread on these forums so you can all get together and find a teammate. Just be honest about your abilities in the game, and you'll be fine. Obviously, the people who can't use a mic or headset need a solo option. Just an idea is all. You never know you might meet some good pals. I have along the way.
