High Impact frame pulse rifles need a nerf

Literally out do everything past sub range and the AA boosting perks are non essential as NTTE and red death absolutely maul everything else anyway. Their permanent true meta top spot when it comes to TTK perpetually leaves any non small map in a long, slow, boring, team shot meta.

    • High impact pulse rifles have been the best primary in pvp for years now, anyone who is good at the game has known this. I have been abusing high impacts for over 4 seasons now, they’re absolutely broken and no other primary even comes close.

      • People in here trying to educate me on pulse rifles.... I have more kills on one messenger roll than most people have primary kills in PvP, I know high impact pulse rifle strong and weak points well enough and there is a reason many call NTTE and Elsie's the outright best weapon in the game.

              • I don't want Bungie to nerf them in terms of stability. Maybe give them 320 rpm instead of 340 like it used to be back in year 1.

                Trying to outgun an High Impact burst is very annoying, sure, BUT the simple solution is to change the way you’re engaging, forcing them to either push you, or you flanking them. Try to get them into Sub Machine Gun range, where every other weapon in the game will do better (except for the obvious longer range weapons, like snipers) The weapon requires a different approach to face, and that’s A Ok.

                  • High impacts are a lot easier to fight against if you engage outside of their comfortable range. High impacts want a medium-long range engagement so either take the engagement even further with a scout like Jade Rabbit, or spray them down in a close-medium range with something like a rapid fire pulse. High impacts need the 6 crit to be competitive so getting them in a position to miss even 1 bullet is huge.

                  • Big facts, I have a god roll Messenger, and it’s like easy mode. Crazy fast TTK, super high stability and handling, aim assist for days, out ranges basically anything that’s not a scout, and has a big enough magazine to spray and pray you right back to the cosmodrome.

                    Uhhh I think you mean High Impacts?? Aggressives are totally fine and almost always out-dueled by high impacts (340s) anyway.
