Reducing exotic class items drop rate. L
Reducing that from regular chests is a massive L. ANY further reduction from anywhere should never have been an option. Just because people CAN chill and farm doesn't mean it's a problem. The way the exotics are structured is the problem.

I am expecting a slower time to get a class item from pale heart/chests... Almost all of my drops had been from standard chests, with a few from corrupted chests, and maybe 1 from an Overthrow chest. In a full cycle of an overthrow, you can get at most 2 overthrow chests per tier (only if you are not killing a lot of enemies and picking up random chests), so with 3 tiers, that is 6 plus any VIP and the boss chest. Which makes it 8 chests for a full cycle. Then you have a 5m cooldown in the zone until you can restart. Does this increase in rate each overthrow chest stay active once you get a drop, leave the zone, leave the pale heart? I just know how Bungie operates, and I really dont think that this will benefit the player, it will reduce or nullify the benefit of running AFK macros to farm chests. I expect the drop rate from standard chests to be VERY low, if even possible. I still think that they arent addressing the primary issue with the class items, which is the fact that each RNG drop can be a duplicate, and how many slots they take up in the vault. It really needs to change to a single class item with perks that can be swapped between. When you get an RNG drop, you extract one perk which unlocks it, make it cost a cypher or golf ball to unlock. Then make it so duplicate perks cannot drop. With how many duplicates that I have dropped with perks that I will never use, I really dont care to farm class items regardless of method or drop rate. This is not a drop rate issue, its a duplicate/vault space issue at its core.

100% agree. Especially as a titan main we legit get 2 rolls that are not god awful. Either change the exotic perks or just leave the drop rate alone. Life’s already hard enough.

Why do people complain at stuff that isn’t even out, at least wait till the changes are out. Who knows, farming overthrow may be better than what we have, maybe it’s not then it’s fine to complain
