Scroll down to the Q&A Speedrun section near the bottom. At the time this article was written (last August) there was no talk of a reprised raid whatsoever for this year.
I can’t help but think how big of a mistake this is if this turns out to be true. Reprised raids have kept the PvE community going during the huge amount of slump time in the middle of the year.
I know that the goal was to make Salvation’s Edge as big as possible, but the raid is starting to get stale. The encounters are long and tedious, and don’t get me started on trying to teach this thing on LFG. Most dedicated players are only stopping in for Master Challenges and to finish off their Titles.
Reprising something like Leviathan or Scourge at the very least would’ve gone a long way in this year that looks to be already lacking somewhat.
This is just me, but raiding is my favorite part of Destiny and I dislike that we’re getting less this year from the looks of things. Dungeons just don’t feel the same…
