name changed due to cross save, but ive had cross save on since it was a thing.
its insane that bungie will change your name bc of something you already have, then not give you the ability to change your name.

Edited by EckyThump: 7/24/2024 8:08:18 PMHey there, if you had the name for a long time, then you should have at least one name change, as we were all given one more when Into the Light launched. Just to confirm, if you CAN enter a new name into the name text box, then you do have a name change available. If the name change doesn't save, then it is hitting the name filter, and you'd have to try something else. If you do not have any name changes left, you will not be able to enter anything, and it will also say 'no changes available' in red text. Also - when a name gets reset by Bungie, you receive the crossplay name change message in-game, it is not anything to do with crossplay though, it is just that there is no specfic message for a moderated name, so you get that default one instead.
