The Still Hunt nerf is ridiculous
I've been thinking it needed a nerf since it came out, but this was way too much. After the nerf, Celestial Still Hunt only does 2.4% more damage than normal Still Hunt. That's outrageous. When an exotic armour has special synergy with an exotic weapon, that armour should usually be the best pairing with that weapon, by a noticeable amount. Think Necrotic Grips with Osteo or Thorn. Now the synergy with Celestial and Still Hunt is so weak that you'd be better off running an Orpheus Rig tether build, because it'll give you more damage. The Still Hunt/Celestial synergy needs to be buffed back up a little bit, so that Celestial is at least a top contender to pair with Still Hunt, instead of nearly pointless.

Ah yes because Hunter being able to do a million damage in 6 button presses is balanced. It was a needed nerf. Still hunt on Hunter was objectively broken, it was brought in line with other classes so it’s not objectively broken on one class only

1. Celestial still heavily buffs Still Hunt by massively increasing its DPS despite a marginal increase in total damage 2. Celestial also buffs your super and grants the damage boost, meaning Celestial has not lost any usability. If you are running Celestial, you might as well run Still Hunt, as it still gets a buff and is the only other Special able to output heavy levels of Damage and supports weapon swapping. (Weapons like Merciless and Euphony also output heavy levels of damage, but they are limited in the fact that they can’t hotswap.)

You have many other options such as: Izi rocket Izi gl Witherhoard rocket Witherhoard gl Merciless Still hunt (no nighthawk) gl Still hunt (no nighthawk) rocket Dragons breath fusion Gl dump Euphony (warlock suggested) Hunter melee buff stacking shenanigans Legend of acrius (Only on some specific bosses) If you cannot do any of those damage rotations/strats put on tractor.

3 RepliesOh no… you’ll have to try to use other options! Or even worse use another sniper. You should understand that Prismatic hunter has so many tools, outside of still hunt, that is very good. Whining that the easiest option was nerfed sounds like you were using it as a crutch, and I hate that for you.
