Well, the newest lore entry was straight to the point, and taken with the lore entries from the Season Pass Sparrow, Ghost Shell, and Ship gives a clear indication of who the Conductor is.
Namely, given the entry is titled "MSUND12/Personal", it appears that "MSund12" and the original Maya Sundaresh are one and the same, instead of the former being one of the simulated versions of her sent into the Vex Network. The lore entry for Unbridled Iridescence, the Sparrow, begins with the following: "Contrary to universal understanding of pre-Veil contact philosophy, personhood is measurable." The only version of Maya Sundaresh that made contact with the Veil was the original one, which narrows it down to her.
She is looking for evidence that she was missed in the 003 entry, and that seems to be what the Primary Query is about. In other words, whatever she did with the Veil that killed her original body and caused her consciousness to reawaken centuries later among the Vex on Nessus, and whether Chioma missed her.
Entry 0032 spells out her plans. Through "an alignment of interests through measured coercion", and "targeted hostility" to "clear a path for peace", she wants to control the Vex and redistribute Vex technology to Humanity. Given she is in control of the Echo and the effect she had on Saint, and all of the above, she doesn't intend to revive the Golden Age in a peaceful manner.
But it seems she doesn't intend to do so until the Primary Query, which seems tied to Chioma Esi and whether she missed Maya, is answered. My guess is the answer, and its consequences, will come in Act 3, though anyone who has listened to Veil Containment knows how Chioma felt about Maya Sundaresh's experiments and their results.
Asher will stop her.

2 RepliesEdited by MC 077 Lasombra: 7/17/2024 7:19:13 AMClose but afraid not.
It proves she is a clone made from the older Maya. That she isn’t a clone from when she was younger. Notice this is a journal entry, that she made. She labeled herself as MSund12. She doesn’t even consider herself the original. The number designator being used for clones was set back in Shadowkeep. https://www.ishtar-collective.net/entries/deontic?highlight=Praedyth Then look at what she says about personhood from the ship lore: “What defines personhood is consciousness within the principal state of existence, mathematically defined through infinite probability testing by the Vex as our current own timeline. ” The principle state of being: existing in the primary timeline. She is defining personhood as : the state of having a “persons” consciousness within the primary timeline. Which within the context of artificially made clones and alternate timeline versions? Means any of one of them can replace you. Which is her justifying her clone self assuming the personage of the original self that died. At least, that’s what her rationale works on, based on her statements. And I’d say the last half of that entry shows how that wonky thinking style is making her crazy. First time we see Vex made clones it was a batch of over 200. I’d expect them to lock down the original and then either lose track of a simulated one or let it go to interact with us like they did with Clovis. That particular clone of Maya actually said the Vex don’t really think this sort of idea out. As in they don’t wonder what might happen, if can do it they do it and find out. Why guess when you can do an actual test and find out? My speculation based on these entries: It started as letting a Maya with a gift to influence the Vex network in a unique way have a small contingent to work with makes sense. (Like the sol divisive) Explore all possibilities. Then the Echo drops in and gives her way more power and control and she breaks free and starts working on her crazy plan. And here we are.
