Stop making battlegrounds seriously
Bungie you need to stop making battlegrounds it’s going to cause alot of problems in nightfalls as well in the future seriously like it’s gong to cause more harm than good and samples aren’t being shared people in battlegrounds slow down please

6 RepliesHonestly agreed. Big example for me is Bungie's creation of the Moon Battlegrounds having Scorn Crossbows able to one-shot players even in old Well which gave 40% DR and 100 health a second. Then there is the Cosmodrome Battlegrounds with the Titan Knight that can one-shots players yet again in Well at a distance that our own weapons have quite harmful fall-off. Bungie's idea for it... nerf Well. Who is the fool making such poor balance here?

While I don't like a lot of battlegrounds the new ones are pretty good.

I prefer them than the current selection of strikes that are now very old and very tired. I would like a whole bunch of new strikes. GMs are the same old and tired. Personally I have no interest in getting up to GM power level just to do the same GM rotations I've been doing since the beginning of time.

I like the battlegrounds but I’m pissed expert doesn’t have matchmaking. Wtf, why do I need matchmaking on expert? I don’t need it for the other far more involved act activity.

2 RepliesThe new battlegrounds are literally just strikes. Their biggest mistake was calling them battlegrounds because mindless brainlets are going to complain about them because what they’re called 🤦♂️

1 ReplyNormally I [b][i]hate[/i][/b] battlegrounds in the strike playlist. But I do really like these two new ones and can't wait for the third one! I just want the "option" to run them all together, well at least the first two, Can't vouch for the third yet. Sadly Bungos track record demands that the third is gonna suck big time, but call me Sisyphus with hopes it will be grand. After all the finally of the light and dark saga was magnificent (sans the raid which I have not ran as I gave up raids years ago).

I disagree and actually think once all 3 are available it'd be nice to run it like a dungeon. I'd even go as juice it up a tad and make it one long adventure instead of 3 seperate things with a chest at each sub step. Overall I like em (I usually dislike seasonal stuff) with my only quom is that reasearch bouty makes you do a bunch of times.

Whenever battlegrounds would come up in the strike playlist i'd quit out. I quit doing strikes altogether when they were almost all battlegrounds. I just wanted to do my three for the pinnacle. I just wanted three i could blow through and burn the boss like old lake of shadows.

They make 3 Battlegrounds a season and we only get 1 Strike a year, seems a bit strange, doesn't it? We even have two seasonal activities already, and they are adding these now? There are so many Strikes that can be returned, they don't even need to be rewritten or change the encounters to something new. Battleground have terrible pacing, it's usually the same old activity where you go to one area/room and wait around for something to finish. Strikes you clear all the enemies in an area/room and move to the next. They need to be intentionally fast, not a wait around and shoot enemies while Ghost hacks something. Instead we remove the great flow that Arms Dealer had and add more dunk mechanics with 5 times the adds and vehicles to slow us down. 8 minute clears were perfectly fine, they don't need to make every activity take 20 minutes, already losing players that don't want to deal with the slog for a single activity. If it's fast then it gets farmed more.
